They turned off the air conditioning early in the morning so room was very hot during the day

The AC in the rooms was very cold and you only get a sheet as a blanket. There are extra blankets available though, which were very necessary

The mattress was soft but the pillow was too hard so not a good combination. The room safe was not secured so someone could walk off with it The A/C and fan were loud. There were gaps in the window and doors but no mosquito net. My wife was bitten in the night as a result so this affected her sleep

The staff were excellent and the food was good. It was in a good location. We liked spending time in the rooftop bar.

Great hostel, felt very welcomed from the moment we checked in. Staff are so lovely and accommodating. Nice little bar area upstairs to chill and socialise. Only issue I had was the A/C being very powerful. I was right under the unit and woke up freezing in the night - maybe could offer a thicker blanket! Would highly recommend!

Having to be barefoot all the time especially if using communal bathrooms

Great hostel. We stayed in private room that was clean, spacious and got a/c. Bathroom was clean and had everything you need. They have a free pick up from the bus station, just text them. They also have few tours so we just booked some once we checked it. No hassle, and very simple to do. If you come early, you can leave your bags in the lobby, no problem with that. There is a nice rooftop bar, drinks were cheap and food was nice (we had dinner and breakfast)

Only big downside is that it is boiling hot in the dorm at night, you will have to sleep with the curtains open for a small drift of air to arrive to you. Bottom bed had a fan next to them but top bunk was not receiving any air. Also it is very hard to climb up to the top bunk, no handle on the side of it.

Quite a lot of mosquitoes, make sure to bring spray! We also booked onward travel via the hostel however their recommended “better option” was possibly one of the worst bus journeys I have been on, so I would recommend doing your own research first.

Spacious private room, good rooftop bar and restaurant, able to organise shared tours, and onward travel via reception. Staff were friendly.

There wasn’t stated in the room discription that it is a shared room with 14 beds. Also there was only one shower and one toilet per floor, and it was not very clean. When you are on the toilet your feet get wet when someone is showering next to you.

Beds were very hard and pillows thin Only one shower and one toilet per dorm - I had to use the downstairs showers and whilst showering the entire curtain and curtain pole fell off leaving me exposed - luckily no one was in there but they didn’t seem apologetic at all.

The address supplied in the booking.com site was a joke - we walked for 3 kms trying to find the hotel…when it was about 350 meters from the bus station. They need to make the address more explicit. Using a QR code to provide check in details was simply annoying rather than digital cool.

The only negative was although it said quiet hours from 10pm we were woken up at 2am by inconsiderate guests shouting in the corridor for quite some time. While this isn't the hotels fault they do have someone on reception that should have told them.

The room was very big and immaculately clean. Great location walking distance to all the sights and restaurants.

Toilet bin in my dorm was full a couple of times, so used toilet paper was on the floor. Toilet seat was loose. Also, there was no place to hang a towel, most used the courtain bar, but that meant not being able to completely slide the courtain for privacy.

Food was great and there was a good atmosphere.

The hostel was very good at organising trips to enjoy Battambang and onward travel which made our trip easier as we could leave it to them to plan for us. We stayed in a private room. The bathroom was quite small but fine. The bed was fine.

Only 1 bathroom for 12 in the dorm but access to a bathroom downstairs or upstairs with the other dorm room having 1 bathroom for 14.

The dorm room is well designed, with extra glass door to block sounds from the rest of the hostel. The roof top bar was good value and good quality food.
