Host was very friendly and helpful. I did rent a bicycle for the first day directly in the hotel. The place is not directly in the main part of the city, but near enough (5-10 minute walk). Good staying for this price.

Eric and David, the owners of the hotel were the most fantastic people you could possibly find, extremely polite and always looking out for our needs. The rooms were unbelievably spacious, we even had 2 king sized beds for the 2 of us. Highly recommend!

The staff was lovely. The old lady there even gave us a small plastic tub to bathe the baby.

The room was not spacious. The checking in was a bit delayed.

Great location. Eric is so welcoming and very helpful, lovely chats, all staff really nice. Right next to bus stop and Tuktuks. Walking distance from market, round the corner from great restaurants, coffee hut & pub street. Amazing value for money.

Only negative the WiFi wasn’t great, however our room was at the end of the hall, it worked in the lobby and central areas better.

The rooms where good and great value for the prize

The personnel wants to help you all the time what is good, but they charge for everything. Gave us a price on a buss ticket, making us cancel our current trip and pay our cancellation fee. Then their price raised and the trip we were promised got a lot longer with buss changes!

Eric the owner was very friendly and helpful and happy to help organise any activity that we wanted to do (not always for the best price though, as we found cheaper for a couple of things). The location is good and close to everything.

The Wifi in the room was very bad. Good at the reception, but very hard to get in the room. We booked a room with 2 double beds and we got one double and one king single (I assume): as we are 4 people traveling (2 adults and 2 kids), it worked but was not completely what we asked for.

Room can not even compare with local guesthouse in Siem Reap. Not clean well, toilet is bad and room facility is waste. Visitor will be charged extra even they don’t sleep there. It’s not value for money!

    Property response:

Dear guest, You booked a facility of a Guesthouse not a hotel. The price you paid for was $10 per night for a standard Twin consisting of two queen beds and fan only. This was booked for 2 x guests. You were charged extra for adding unregistered guests to your room. We hope you can be honest about our facility and services and not add the true facts about your experiences while staying at our place. We also hope you can use this opportunity to educate yourself and others about the proper etiquettes of traveling and booking future rooms; weather guesthouse or hotel. Thank you for your feedback and we wish you well. Angkor Ruby Guesthouse Siem Reap, Cambodia

The owners of this guesthouse Eric and Dave were the nicest most welcoming hosts ever. They always went above and beyond to help with anything we need (from tours to visa queries), their genuine concern with the guests wellbeing truly makes this place. Besides that, it’s a great location away from the craziness of pub street but still walking distance to the center. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious.

I have nothing bad to say.
