Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThere isn't really a restaurant or bar, and breakfast was a bit average.
I was there for NYE and it was easier to sleep than I expected at 1am! I was worried that the noise would go on much later. It was near enough to walk to the main areas to see the fireworks, easy to walk to bars and restaurants, but far enough to be okay when I got in. The staff were helpful and my bed was very comfortable. The room was so clean.

AustraliaLovely settings, clean and spacious courtyard and pool area. Staff are very lovely and helped when I left belongings on the train by calling the station. Rooms were comfortable, water hot, beds clean. French toast for breakfast was yum. Street food stalls a short walk away. Would stay here again.

Czech RepublicOnly thing that we did not like was a music bar right next to the hotel playing until 2-3 a.m. I do not know if it was only cos it was a weekend or if it is every day, but we slept like three hours each night. Not a hotel's bad but music was stupidly loud.
The hotel is right by the river, at the end of promenade, nice garden. We had a room on the second floor with small balcony to chill on, very nice. The breakfast is simple but good.

AustraliaHotel is tired. The staff, although attentive to their clientele, yet not to the hotel itself. Pool was great & regularly cleaned. Only real gripe was the breakfast.... A limited choice of 3 ONLY. Omelette ; Scrambled eggs; French toast. I was having plain toast with peanut better for my 5 brekkies🥴 5 days in Kampot is too long, I thought I could swim in the river, but noooooo!!! But definitely get a hotel near the river for the lights, activity & breeze.
It is across the road from the river. Lovely walk along. Lots of restaurants & cheap beer along the street. Staff young & helpful.

BelgiumSurrounded by loud bars that go on until late at night. The staff was friendly, but didn’t really have a clue what they were supposed to do. All in all, too expensive for what you get.
Good location, not far from the center. The bungalows are nice enough.

AustraliaThe bungalows were large and had a nice aesthetic but were a bit rickety. After seeing big gaps around the door and no fly screen on the bathroom vents in the bungalows, we were concerned about mosquitoes and asked to move to a deluxe room instead, which was accommodated. However they didn’t have enough deluxe rooms left for all our party, and my friend who stayed in the bungalow did end up getting bitten. The tiles in the bathrooms and outdoor areas can be slippery when wet, but this is a common theme in Cambodia. Our only other problem was that there was a funeral happening on the street behind the property for the whole four days we stayed. This involved very loud chanting and gamelan music starting from about 4am each morning. Sadly it’s completely outside the hotel’s control, but it did impact on our stay. I suggest asking for a ground-floor room if you’re concerned about noise; they have a wall behind them so don’t get as much noise from adjacent properties as the rooms on higher floors.
The place had beautiful gardens and a lovely pool area. The location is a bit out of the town centre but a nice 10–15 minute walk along the river to get to the more touristy areas. There were food carts and market stalls outside the hotel some nights, and a couple of good restaurants nearby. Deluxe rooms were solid and comfortable and everything was very clean. Beds, while firm, were not as hard as others we’d encountered! Fridge and kettle were good, although we had to put he kettle on the bedside table because the other power points were in weird locations. Our group of ten stayed in the off season (October) and we seemed to be the only guests. Spa and restaurant were closed (except for the included breakfast). There was a skeleton staff of about 4 people running the place, but they were great; really friendly and attentive, always there to greet us at any hour. They helped with our bags, provided umbrellas when it rained and were good about letting us change to different rooms when we were concerned about mosquitos in the bungalow rooms we’d booked initially. They even gave us a little gift when we checked out!

AustraliaAll is great except the noise at night time, we booked thinking a little out of town would be quiet, but the local bar next door is loud.
The hotel and staff are fabulous, clean, comfortable and great landscape and gardens. Unfortunately there is a bar next door which is loud in the night time.

United StatesToo many mosquitoes around the hotel and in room. We got bitten too many times from both spiders and mosquitoes. The bungalow could use another piece of furniture, like a desk or drawer. The bathroom was a tad too small and the glass in the bathroom was almost see through. It was creepy to use the restroom at night knowing that someone could be standing outside looking through that glass window.
Close proximity to night vendors and riverside. Bungalow was very cute. Staff was very friendly and prompt. I would recommend future guests to book the rooms in their hotel rather than the bungalows outside. Pool is a good size. Loved their billiards table.

United KingdomWe booked the villa which can accommodate 8. There are only 3 chairs in the ‘lounge’ which also has no ac or fridge. No one cleaned or even emptied the bins during our 3 night stay. The most expensive hotel we booked on our tour of Cambodia and by far the worse. The AC is not strong enough for the room. The neighbouring bars continue very loudly until about 2am. Missing lots of details , not even a hairdryer or safe in the room. I had pre-paid for this room but if any of the staff could have spoken English I would have asked for some money back.
The location is good

AustraliaUnfortunately I can not recommend this place. Our room was dirty, there was a thick layer of dust everywhere (including the bed sheets), and there were cobwebs on the toilet paper! The restaurant was not open which is a warning sign as everywhere else is really busy. There were so many small things like we couldn’t use the fridge as it stunk like rotten fish and there was no tea/coffee. It’s also right next to a noisy nightclub and the music plays until 2am. It was so loud our walls were literally vibrating. The hotel seems neglected and in need of a deep clean and revitalisation. All this is ok if the price is cheap, however we paid $130 USD per night which is so overpriced compared to other places in the area.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. They helped me book a bus the Phnom Peng which was much appreciated.
