Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThere's a bit of a walk to the next bus station, however you walk through a nice market. The room was not super spacious.
Close by the beach, restaurants and nightlife. Would recommend.

NetherlandsThe bathroom was quite cramped and the washing basin was instable and very close to the toilet which caused you to bump into the corner quite often, or because of it’s instability it could cause all the items to suddenly fall when you lean on the basin. They also called us and woke us up on the morning of check-out to tell us we need to close the curtains before we leave.
The view was really amazing and the massage chair was also a cool experience. There were chairs set up with a view of the bridge and because of the panoramic glass you could see the bridge and the gwangali boulevard too which was really pretty at night. I requested an extra bed because I was staying with a friend and online it said that a one persons bed would be provided. At arrival I noticed they provided a pretty big 2 persons bed so that was really nice.

United KingdomPillows could have been more comfortable but that's personal preference
Very nice view, we enjoyed the location with lots of restaurants and other activities going on by the beach, just outside the hotel. Bus stop to Busan center was also close and the underground wasn't too far either. People complained about the lift in the reviews, but it was honestly absolutely fine. Nice stay!

AustraliaThey are currently doing some renovations, so things may already have changed. The room was comfortable enough, but the interior was a bit tired - it was clean, but there were scuff marks and stains everywhere. The outlets are in odd places around the room, compared to where the furniture was placed. No matter how we used the shower it seemed designed to spray water halfway across the bathroom (water pressure was amazing! But so was the spray radius).
The view from the room of the bay and the bridge was amazing, we enjoyed sitting by the window and watching the boats and lights. The location is good, right near the busy waterfront strip, but far enough away not to have noise or congestion. The check-in desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

GermanyVery good room with a beautiful view. The rooms are clean and well equipped. I loved the balcony so much and the bed had a heater which was so nice to have. Also the bathtub with a glass wall towards thw balcony so beautiful but private. The downside: i had not enough space for my suitcase to spread open as the bed was in the middle of the room.

United StatesThe elevator was too slow in coming to the floor. The stair should have it in English stating we can use it. I thought it was only for emergency use and didn't know if it locked. The AC control should have an English instructions on usage.
The bed was comfortable. The view was great. We were able to see the drone show from our balcony.

SpainThe bathroom is of the "wet room" type (WC and shower are not separated by a partition) so the whole area gets soaked when you take a shower. The carpeting in the hallway looked like it could use some renewing in some areas. It would also be really helpful if more detailed info re how to find the hotel was provided when you book a room. It looked like we weren't the first guests to end up in the adjoining building!
Room had a really cool vibe, and so did the rest of the hotel. The staff at Reception were super nice! Check-in & check-out were super fast and easy. Bed was HUGE, and views of the lights at Gwangalli Beach looked amazing from our balcony. It got easily warm in that part of the room, but the AC worked perfectly so we had a comfortable stay. Also loved the fact we had two light robes and slippers available in our room :)

AustraliaThe only complaint we had is that the elevators are genuinely terrible. They are shared by so many other businesses in the building and we were waiting 5-10 minutes sometimes just to go from the reception, down *one* floor to our room. It doesn’t sound like much, but after a long day of walking around Busan, the last thing we wanted was to get stuck waiting for an elevator up to reception, and then down again to our room.
The view was INCREDIBLE in our room. Genuinely blew our minds seeing the Gwangalli Bridge lit up like that at night. The location is just amazing and the actual room itself was exceptionally nice, and the bathroom was nicely sized - which is a nice change from most Korean apartments. Overall it was great.

MalaysiaCheck-in was very late 4pm ., after travelling more than 15 hours we were really hoping to check in a bit earlier . The receptionist was not friendly and could hardly speak nor understand English . Also the common areas and reception area is such a let down ! no porters either ! It gave such a terrible first impression .. for the price we paid we could have stayed at a 5 star hotel in Hondae beach! However , once we got to the room we were happy that it was as the photos when we made the booking ! The room definitely made up for the others .
Great size room and the view was beautiful! We really loved the massage chair .. it really was such a bonus after a long day to relax on the massage chair .

United StatesThe check-in was very confusing. The building has many different businesses in it, not just the hotel. There isn't any signage in English in the lobby indicating exactly where to go to check-in. Better signage in the lobby by the elevators would be helpful. Also make it clear in the confirmation email. The breakfast is very Korean. Some may like it, but it didn't really appeal to me.
The hotel has a beautiful view of the full beach and bridge. I loved sitting on my patio and enjoying the lovely view. The room is small but well-appointed and comfortable with everything needed.

RussiaThe hotel is accessible by a 20 minutes walk from the nearest metro station or one hour from Busan Central station. Views from the room located at the upper floor were so pleasant in particular through the nightly and morning fog. The room was very clean and furnishing was very comfortable. Location of the hotel allows to easily visit the Gwangalli beach as well as other Haeundae beach eastward.
