How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Didn’t like the bathroom situation. Shared a room with my mother and I had to caution her that I was in the shower, although there was a privacy blind it would be great if all the areas of the shower had a bit more privacy.

Weird noises coming from the air vent
Right next to Namsan tower, good location many cafes and restaurants around. Public transport easily accessed. Hotel room was okay nothing much to write about had a window facing the wall of the next building. Staff are friendly.

A water dispenser per floor would have been convenient for guests to refill their water bottles. There's only one water dispenser at the ground floor lobby. The hotel has no free toothbrush and toothpaste. But that's actually okay with us since we normally bring our own in our trips. So, this is just to inform future guests to bring their own toothbrush and toothpaste or buy from the hotel or at the convenience store.
The hotel is strategically located. It's very near the shopping area and food hubs in Myeongdong, yet it is far enough for a quiet and safe stay. It's very accessible as it's just about 5-min walk to 2 train stations. There's also a convenience store beside the hotel. Our room is pretty spacious and the bed is very comfortable. I like the fact that the toilet and the shower are separate, so it's convenient for me and my husband.

The location is good, just few minutes' walk from airport limousine bus stop, myeongdong night streets and tourists' attractions i.e. namsan tower. The room is just right for a solo traveler as there is not so much space to really spread your luggage, but enough for the essentials. After all, when you are on a trip, you are barely in the hotel anyway. It's just where you rest after a packed day.

The room was rather small. And the window view directly faced the wall of an adjacent building just a few meters away.
The location is close to a metro station which is only two stops from Seoul man station. Also, a popular shopping district with restaurants etc. is just a few streets away. Breakfast had a decent choice with both Asian- and European-/American-style food.

A bit of a walk to Myeongdong.
The hotel let us check in early. The property is clean and they clean and change towel ever day. Two Complimentary bottled water is given every day. The laundry area has only 1 washer and 1 dryer.

My room looks in the wall
Location is excellent. Most of the places are half or hour from the hotel by walking. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
