Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe rooms are very basic, small. If you’re not planning on spending time there other than to sleep, than it’s fine.
In such a great location in Myeongdong, so close to the Line 2 subway. Staff were always about at reception, good AC in the rooms. Beds were comfortable.

PhilippinesThere was this front desk/ receptionist (an old man) who is not courteous enough and doesn’t understand my message very well. He seems to be mean when I was asking something. When some co-tourirst saw how he treated me, they are the ones who are more than courteous enough to help me locate a mall address.
Good location

TurkeyMaybe cleaning could be better. On the first day, there were a few stain on bed sheets, but when they changed, it was OK. The biggest problem was, when we opened the blackout curtains, the cold winds were coming from the windows.. and there was no other thin curtain.. that's why curtains had to be closed when we were in the room..
I stayed with my parents. The location was perfect, the room wasn't noisy and was comfortable for 3 adults. The staff was kind and helpful. There was a water dispenser on the lobby floor. And tea/ mix coffee, microwave, tables, and chairs.. if you buy your food as takeout, you can have it there..

The hotel location is one of its attractiveness. It’s near the Euljiro subway station. Although the hotel is sharing the same building as some F&B outlets, it’s rather quiet on the hotel floors.

PhilippinesOne of the few things I did not like is that there's no bidet near the toilet bowl. We availed the Superior family twin and we had to use the detachable shower head for business... Another one is that the table in the hotel room is pretty small. We usually eat inside the hotel room. There's 3 of us so we had to eat on the floor. Lastly, we wanted to extend a couple of hours since our flight time is far from our checkout time and two staff had different answers. First one I encountered was that the staff said I had to pay a whole day so I that's what I did. The next day when I came back to just get our updated key card, another staff said that I just need to pay the extension per hour not one whole day. The second staff had to cancel our transaction from the prior night and then created a new one for the extension. I'm not quite sure if we just had a misunderstanding or it's something else but I hope it's the former.
The Hotel is just a few walks away from the Myeongdong Street. The hotel is also near a train station(Euljiro 1) so moving places is a breeze. The hotel is also near Myeongdong Lotte Department store, Young Plaza and Myeongdong Underground Shopping Center. If you can walk for a more or less 15 minutes, you'll also get to go to Shinsegae Department store. I like that it's very near malls and shops which is a plus for me.

MalaysiaLeft over soap at toilet sink. No basic tooth brush or hand soap given. I guess is the room cleaner that has forgotten to do so and also did not remove the used hand soap left behind by earlier guest. Other than that, bed is comfy and clean.
Location is great, just a stone throw away from Sunway line 2.

Hong Kongthe facilities are a bit aged and there’s bad smell in the bathrooms sometimes which was very unpleasant.
great location right at the heart of everything in Myeongdong. rooms are ok as long as you are not expecting too much. we booked 4 rooms for a few days. some rooms have toilet / sink blocked, some rooms are ok. our main purpose is for location and sleep only so we are fine. the staff at the reception is friendly and there’s a small seating area/ self service cafe at the 5/f which is quite handy for a few of us to eat out takeaway food.

MalaysiaStayed during early winter in early Dec, hotel room's heater is not sufficient to keep the entire room warm. It is still very cold especially during night time.
Great location just right next to subway Station and lotte department store and Myeongdong night street. Mattress is very comfortable to sleep on and shower heating system is consistent compared to some of the previous Guesthouse I stayed. Loved the standard size towel as well as their toiletries.
