Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaHotel laundry is available, which I used. Some type of perfume was used, and my clothes reeked of it. I have hayfever, so the smell was overpowering and set allergies off. The next day, I took the washing back, and it was redone minus the perfume. All good after that.
We had a large room with a double bed and a king single. My granddaughter stayed with me for long weekends. She is 6 feet tall and was comfortable on the single. I was glad of the quilts on my bed. Coming from Western Australia, I found it cold at night even though it was high teens at night The bathroom is large with a big tub and separate bidet toilet and a separate shower. There are plenty of normal size towels, which I appreciate. Other hotels had handtowels as bathtowels. One window is in the bathroom, which has a black blind. At night, it's hard to tell it's open. Nearby buildings may allow people to see inside the bathroom. An escape system is beside the tub and looked simple to use if slightly scary. However, there are no instructions as to how to open the very high window.

TaiwanThe layout was very weird, I had a room with a L shape layout. The hardware of the place was kind of old and setup weirdly. I personally hate rugs and anything with fluff and fur because I just find them dirty, and they had those under and on the couch so I didn’t bother touching it.
Very spacious.

GermanyI got an upgrade but the bathtub leaked water into the room and the plug was also not entirely sealed so water went out of the tub very quickly.

AustraliaThe setup of the room is more for couples. My granddaughter and I shared the bed (mattress on the floor) for two nights. It was ok to sleep on, but it was so hard to get off the floor for me. The setup was strange. the kitchen is off the bathtub area. Which is near toilet and shower. A small lounge is off other side of the bathtub area, and the bed is down 2 steps off the lounge. You have to walk past the bathtub tub to get to the kitchen. No hooks to hang clothes in shower recess and clothing left on the floor outside the shower door. Kettle is set up in the lounge.
This space had everything. Small equipped kitchen. Big space.

AustraliaThe bathtub happened to have a chip inside which was also rusted which made me feel uncomfortable using it. It would have been nice to have a few more options for food compared to what they had.
I loved the spaciousness of the room and the facilities such as the little kettle and the fridge, which was incredibly useful. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I would not only recommend it but visit again.

United KingdomThe hotel is on the quieter side of the river so not as close to the main areas of interest (although the subway is close).

TaiwanUnfortunately there’s no drain hole at the place of bathtub, so if the bathtub overflows, it will become impossible to drain the water, the floor will be flooded
I forgot to bring the Korean plug but fortunately there’s plug and charging cables in the room!!! The room is clean and comfortable, love the bathtub and spa tub. Everything is so good there. The location is convenient too, takes 15 mins to Hongdae.

Hong KongI wish there was more storage. I like to store my luggage while I stay at a hotel. Also I wished there was some hooks to hang my toiletries bag and the bathrobe.
The location was more convenient than I expected. Close to a subway station, airport bus stop, restaurants - it was safe and quiet, not touristy. The room was large, the interior was stylish, bed was comfortable and room itself was very cozy with a lounge chair, coffee table, desk and a chair. I enjoyed the large beautiful bathtub!

United KingdomI had a very comfortable stay 😊 The only slight negative was the nearby construction work noise, but this did not start until 8 am. I just kept the window closed, the curtain pulled across (which dampens a lot of noise), and the air con set to a comfortable level. Just a suggestion: it might be useful to have a guide in English for the amazing functions of the toilet, or at least a label pointing to the button for the flush.
I came to Seoul for an event at Goyang Stadium (to the west of the city), but had had problems trying to find availability of accommodation near to the Stadium. However, Hotel Loft turned out to be a really great choice for several reasons. Firstly, the hotel is just a 5-10 minutes walk from both Dangsan metro station (subway lines 2 and 9; exit 12) and various buses. I ended up taking bus 9707 to get back from the stadium to the hotel even though it was after 11 pm. Equally, the transport links make it easy to go eastwards or north of the river to get to central Seoul. Secondly, Dangsan is not a touristy part of Seoul. However, I think because of a nearby convention centre, there are loads of restaurants and bars nearby serving food until late. I had fun experiencing one of the nearby 24/7 coin noraebang (karaoke booths). Conversely, there are loads of places nearby for breakfast on the go (as well as Starbucks, Paik's Coffee, etc). There are also 24/7 mini marts nearby, such as 7 Eleven and CU. If I needed to rehydrate any food, such as ramyeon, there was a kettle in my room, and there was a communal microwave near the elevators for my floor. The hotel otherwise has an on-site option for breakfast or dinner, or can do room service. Thirdly, the room I got assigned (605) was spotlessly clean and super comfortable. The bed was massive! The room had its own internet connection, and the hotel had provided everything from device charging plugs to complimentary bottles of water in the fridge. I don't understand some of the negative reviews on here regarding the rooms, as my room was both well-lit (there are two lighting control panels: one on the wall, one next to the bed), and easy to control temperature wise (again, there is one control panel on the wall, and a remote control next to the bed). I also don't understand some of the negative reviews on here about the staff.

GermanyWe had a short stay in Seoul, abt 4 days in their deluxe two bed room, which was a special deal off. Can recommend highly though I probably wouldn‘t have booked it for the full price (which at around ~600€ would have still been fair if your budget allows it). The bath was very clean and comfortable, and there are some great restaurants & izakayas around the area. Staff kindly helped us book a taxi to Seoul station.

South KoreaThe things I love the most are the location, the comfortable beds and the cleanliness. The rooms have everything you need, including phone chargers. The location is convenient for travelling to Yeouido / Hongdae / Mullae / Central City Express Bus Terminal. The hotel is near 2 subway lines, and a lot of bus routes. The hotel also allows you to store your luggage before and after your stay (I stored mine for a few hours before check in and after check out). If there is anything negative, it would be the heating. The room was very hot, almost too hot and I was hesitant to open the window because of the air quality/noise.

United KingdomHousekeeping missed the room on 2 occasions despite the “make up my room sign having put out for several hours. On one occasion tea/coffee amenities were not replenished. Needs a little more attention to detail.
Excellent location for exploring all parts of Seoul. Ideally located a few minutes walking from Dangsan Station where multiple lines cross. The standard deluxe room is spacious and the bed exceptionally comfortable. Fabulous shower and bath (didn’t use). Multiple eateries a minute walk from hotel range from good bakeries, coffee shops, convenience store and Korean restaurants (where the locals eat). This was my second stay and would gladly book this hotel again. Good value for money and easy to reach all key sightseeing locations of Seoul within 20-30 mins.

GermanyIt was quite dark and a little quirky. Some of the items in the room were quite dated. Instructions for operating the equipment eg. the toilet/bidet were only available in Korean.
I liked the location, just 5 minutes walk from the Dangsan metro station, and the room was a good size. It was pleasantly warm (I was there in winter). There was free bottled water for drinking and the staff were friendly.
