Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

An excellent Guesthouse. Staff at the front desk are super helpful and friendly. Location can't be beaten and in terms of value for money it's amazing. Spotless clean throughout.

United States of AmericaThe bathroom is not cleaned thoroughly with molds under the sink stand and at the back of the toilet commode (water tank) plus sewer smells really bad that I have to turn on the exhaust fan all the time.
Super convenient and few steps away from myeongdong street market and subway station. Other than that the staff were very helpful and friendly and the price is very reasonable for the location so, that is a plus 👍.

SingaporeMy room was on the 3rd floor, no elevator... simply stairs so if you need help please ask. The entrance was via an access code which was sent via message in booking.com and also as access to the room. The room was extremely small that wasn't able to even open the luggage. The bed and pillow are barely bearable for 2 nights sleep.
Exit via Myeongdong exit #1 via elevator and less than 1 min gentle upslope work is a terrific location. There are lots of F&B within walking distance in Myeongdong area. Although the room was tiny, there was water and a microwave at the L1 common area. In the room there is TV and 3 pin plugs and hot water shower work fine.

Location was close walking distance to restaurants, shopping places and tour pick-ups. The staff were very kind and helpful. Probably one of the few places with great customer service in South Korea..

SingaporeThere's no dryer. There's also no lift, so we had to carry our luggage bags up three storeys. Also can faintly hear the school kids in the morning, which is not a big deal.
The receptionist helped us open the main door on the day we came. They're able to communicate in different languages. There's laundry machine available. Location is easy to find and very near the shopping street. Oh yeah, they padded the doors with foam for added soundproofing.

MalaysiaWe book 3 room, i was not satisfied with the 2 rooms. One is on lvl 2 double bed, there's very small place to put the luggage. Another one is triple bedroom, also space is too small while the washroom is extra big. Another double bedroom is just nice. Small but comfy. The guesthouse only give small towel suitable for face, we can buy it at 6000won for bigger towel.
The location are strategic. Near subway station - Myeongdong station exit 1. Near Kim Seri Restaurant, Kampungku Restaurant, Myeongdong street, Namsan Cable Car. All is walking distance. Lobby provide some tea, coffee, water dispenser and microwave. Staff are friendly and well verse in English.

MalaysiaThere is no elevator, but the staff helped to carry my luggage upstairs. Thank you.
The room is clean and comfortable and allows privacy for a solo traveller at a more affordable price. The staff are all very nice and helpful, and the location is really near to exit 1 of myeongdong station where the elevator is. There is also a halal restaurant in the same street (Kim Seri restaurant) and close to the 12-storey Daiso store.
