How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It is apparent that the owner loves travellers and is always willing to help others. The common area has so much personality on its own, every corner is filled with meaningful and cute things! The rooms are what you expect, fine for the money, you get a good night’s sleep :)

The location is really great for walking to all the sites and the owner is lovely. I had messed up my booking and he fixed it for me with no issue. Breakfast is provided and the rooms are all clean and really nicely put together

The bathroom has toilet, shower, sink all in one space without any divide, so everything gets wet

Nothing to complain about.
Cozy place only one level with separate male and female bathrooms/toilets. Close to most of sights I wanted to visit by just walking. The kitchen facilities were fabulous and the owner was very kind and accommodating. All sorts of people from different parts of the world stayed there. The breakfast was a real bonus - bread, cereals, coffee, etc.

The owner was really nice and helpful and he even gave us a heatlamp and heated pad when we felt slightly cold. He made us feel very welcome and the community area is cozy and inviting and you can bond with other travellers there.

The mattress was a bit hard.
Very nice owner who speaks english very well. It was really nice. Only at 10 minutes of the Hanok Village and near to a shopping street.

All good. Nothing to complain.
Clean room, big communal space. A real guesthouse feeling. Quiet area but close to the main attraction. The owner gave me very good tips to continue my travels.

THE PLACE IS GREAT, but it wasn’t as clean as I would like, not to the disgusting level but just not that clean. Also one small thing the dorm wasn’t full when I was there but I fill like it would be a bit too crowded. Also the towels are small (like all over Korea) and I didn’t like the pillow.
It’s a great place! It’s cozy and comfortable. the owner is super nice and was very helpful! I really enjoyed the vibe. the location is great and close to most of the interesting things in the city. Would come back!

Walls can be thin so I could hear people snoring in the other room. But if you have ear plugs you’re fine

The highlight is definitely the lovely common space. Since Jeonju is a rather quiet town in terms of night life, it was nice to have an opportunity to sit down with fellow travelers in the evening, play guitar and the traditional Korean drum and just have a good time. The location is great, with bus stops just at the doorstep, Hanok village is 5-10 minutes walk away. Homeplus - a large supermarket is nearby. You can rent a bicycle for one thousand KRW a day, look on google maps for 전주시 공영자전거 대여소(오목대대여소) or ask the owner. The owner is nice and speaks good English, he can give you many advices about hikes nearby etc. The beds are ok, there are privacy curtains but only on lower bunk beds. Good for longer stays too. P.S. Respect the shoe line :)
