How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A bit farther than I expected to the main areas to visit, but still within walking distance. The breakfast was very good, but the breakfast room is small.

They do not have bath towels and no hooks in the bathroom. If you were not a couple it would be really hard to share a room.

Verified reviewFrom the room there was a nice view of the nearest tombs of the archeological park. Room was quite big and so was also the bathroom.
The breakfast was quite simple compared to other similar hotels in Korea. The beds were firmer than usual, so (personally) I didn't sleep as comfortably as I did in other hotels in Korea.

Verified reviewAbsolutely Fantastic – A Perfect Stay! This hotel was an absolute gem from start to finish! The rooms were incredibly modern, spotless, and beautifully designed — a real treat after a long day of exploring. The bathroom was spacious and luxurious, complete with a relaxing bathtub that felt like a mini spa experience. The staff truly went above and beyond. Everyone we encountered was warm, professional, and eager to help with anything we needed — from local recommendations to assisting with transport. You can really feel they care about their guests. One lovely surprise was the complimentary noodles available in the evening — such a thoughtful touch, especially when you're too tired to go out again. Breakfast was excellent as well, with a wide selection that covered everything you could want — both Western and local options, all fresh and delicious. Best of all, the hotel is just a short walk from the historical district, which made it easy to explore without needing transport. I honestly couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended, and I would absolutely stay here again!

Verified reviewThe breakfast was amazing and the lounge had cup noodles and drinks at night where you can take it for free and enjoy the food. The room was of high quality and the bathtub was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful too. The hotel is near place of interest in Gyeongju.
The toilet seat is not separated from the showering area which make the area wet when we shower.

Verified reviewThe room was big and a big TV. The bathroom was nice with a bathtub. And they provided Slippers, which was very nice. The breakfast was good.
There wasnt a cup for the toothbrush and the matrassas with the plastic Cover was a little bit uncomfortable. For a few nights its okay.

Verified reviewIt was clean and essentially served my needs. However, compared to the way it was presented in the advertisements, photos, and descriptions, as well as price comparable to other available properties, I was expecting a much higher quality facility. This was basically like a hostel. There was no one at reception, even around 8:30pm on a Friday; the breakfast was of lower quality than a continental breakfast, and there were no amenities such as a lounge. For the same price range, I am staying at leisurely 4 and 5 -Star hotels. I felt like this was a huge rip off.

During that moment, we noticed you had started checking in using the self-service kiosk, and our staff assisted you with the process right away. We also clearly explained that if you needed any assistance during your stay, you could always contact the reception or call the number provided in your room for immediate support. Regarding lounge or relaxation areas, we have spaces available on the second floor and on the rooftop for our guests to use freely. While it’s not always possible to meet every expectation, we truly prioritize guest convenience and do our best to accommodate your needs as much as we can. In terms of pricing, accommodation rates in Gyeongju are generally similar to or even higher than ours. Our hotel offers a significant advantage with its central location, and many of our guests express high satisfaction with the accessibility.
