Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesRooms were dirty. Filth/dust under the bed and black mold in showers. The sewer smell coming up in the bathrooms was sometimes unbearable. Good thing we were able to open the window. Front desk staff could have been friendlier. They didn’t give a welcoming feeling.
Washer/dryer was convenient. Be sure to use the “blanket” setting on the dryer or your clothes will never dry. Nice little gym. Very good location. Rooms were dirty. Staff could have been friendlier.

United StatesI liked the local cuisine offering for breakfast. They had charging cords and plugs in the room which was nice. The water pressure was really good, bed and pillows were nice as well. Right by the train station with a taxi stand. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Would stay again.

South KoreaThere was no full length mirror in the room, the only mirror with sufficient lighting to do our makeup was in the bathroom, it’s a very minor issue that didn’t make our stay unpleasant.
The hotel is fairly close to the subway station, it was easy to find. The bed is very comfortable and the room was clean. There were enough amenities in the room to make our stay comfortable.

United StatesBeds were extremely hard for my liking. As an American, it felt like I was sleeping on a box spring. This may be the norm for the region, but for me, I was sore every morning from the hard surface.
Location was great. Facilities were average. Breakfast was decent, but not served until 7:00AM and not served on the weekends. Since we were there for work and had to leave by 6:30 each day, we only got to enjoy the breakfast once over the 14 days we were there. Free Laundry down by gym, but beware the dryer takes a very long time to dry clothes. Had to run it 4 times before they were dry. Massage chair in gym was also very nice. Everything was always clean and neat. Front desk was very helpful.

South KoreaIt is an older style hotel so don’t expect anything flash. The beds were rock hard and not at all comfortable.
The hotel is close to the train station so super easy to get to and from if you are travelling. It is also in a main area of Pyeongtaek so there are many shops and restaurants.

United StatesThere were no shower curtains in the bathroom so water splashed everywhere. The door to room 608 didn’t latch shut easily and.I had to pull it closed several times to ensure it was closed. There is no controlled acccess to the rooms via elevator and the front desk wasn’t always manned so there is risk that non guests could get up to the rooms which is concerning especially with door locks that were sometimes faulty.
Location near the train and many good restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The free WiFi was always reliable and fast. The air conditioning kept the room cool and comfortable. The front desk staff was always courteous and helpful. The room cleaning staff always kept the room immaculate.

United StatesThe bathroom cleanliness was NOT up to par. There was hair and yellow stains behind the bidet lid. I'm sure that hasn't been cleaned in ages. In addition the bidet spigot had mildew on it, so I avoided using it.
The staff is top rate: very accommodating [when possible] and eager to assist. I had great fun with Google Lens figuring out the controls on the washing machine and dryer. It worked like a charm! Complimentary laundry services were spot on!
