Great location. 1 min walk from the subway station. The street was a bit weird at night at first sight, but turned out to be okay and safe. The staff was quite friendly, and you can get new tissue papers and towels every day if you need.

The location of the hotel is near the train station. The breakfast is good which includes bread, egg, peanut butter, cheese, a slice of ham, butter, and cereals. For drinks, these include tea, 3 in 1 coffee (Maxim), and brewed coffee.

The rooms are simple and without any special features, but perfectly comfortable for an overnight stay. The beds felt a bit soft, and it wasn’t very convenient that the shower tended to flood the entire bathroom.

The staff was very friendly and even allowed early check-in, providing clear instructions. The nicest surprise was the free breakfast, which wasn’t mentioned in the listing. Everything was comfortable - a great place for a one-night stay.

No elevator but the guy is always willing to help to carry your luggage up & down so it's a plus point here.

The room was very hot, even when the heating was turned down all the way. One of the nights we stayed there it was -12 degrees Celsius, we left the window open all night and the room was still too hot! The beds were also hard but considering the price it was an amazing stay, great value.

The staff was lovely, friendly and helpful. The room was cozy and clean with everything you could need provided, and the location was amazing, two minutes from the metro station and a short walk from many popular tourist attractions. A great budget find.

A little isolated along a quiet back alley which may scare off young ladies travelling alone or small group. But the place is actually very safe. People walking along that alley looks decent, not like one who just step out of a bar

The only problem was that my room was directly underneath the main staircase... and people were running up and down the stairs all night long. This only apples to one or two rooms out of them all, though.

Location is very good, a couple hundred meters from the subway and a handful fo stations from downtown. The establishment is clean and bright, staff is nice.

Absolutely love the location close to everywhere so my recommendation stay at jongno area means jongno 3, 5 dongdaemun station the best location to explore Seoul city. Many hostels , hotels and plenty places to eat, 2 min walking to gwangan market so incredible food over there and the best and traditional tasty. 100% recommended starhostel 🌟

The location was just so perfect to get around the inner circle of Seoul city. If you're going to get on KTX the Seoul station is on the same #1 metro line. There's an airport bus in a walkable distance. The only downside of this accommodation is that there is no elevator, so you have to walk up few flight of stairs with your luggage. Also, the place is not brand new with fresh floors. Overall, for the price and prime location it is worth it especially if you're thinking of just sleeping for the night and have a busy itinerary.

This is not a deluxe suite haha. Wasn't expecting to be for the price, but it's really basic and small.

Great location just a few steps from the metro station. Staff is really nice and breakfast was good! Free water stations were great to fill up our water bottles!

The location was superb! close to line 1 subway station and a 24-hour convenience store located closely to the hostel. The staffs were very helpful and responsive. The bathroom is clean.

Like the previous reviews said, there are a few stores on the alley is in is quite sketchy, but it is safe to walk down at night. Personally, it did not bother me much, but I know it can make some people uncomfortable.

The space was a lot nicer than I expected and very clean! Staff were very nice, friendly, and ready to help! As a solo traveler, spatially, the room was comfortable for me to walk around as long as my luggage was closed and upright. I was quite lucky and was staying on the first floor so I did not have to encounter going up the stairs, but the stairs going downstairs to the cafeteria is a bit steep and there is no railing (something to keep in mind if you have difficulty with stairs). The power only turns on when the keycard is in the slot. If you plan on using the fridge or charge things, you will want to plan it around the time when you will be in the room. The outlets are a bit finicky when you use a bulky travel adapter and it doesn’t fit snug, but I as still able to somehow get it to work (just remember to look up what S. Korea outlet frames look like beforehand). Wifi in the room was good and I had no issues with it. The walls were not as thin as I expected and the only time I would hear the neighbouring room would be when someone suddenly shouts. I did hear the lobby music and walking outside through the room door, but it did not bother me at all. There are a lot of places to visit nearby and is easy to go to by walking. There is also a convenience store on the same alley and a subway station just a bit further down which makes going to and from quite easy. Getting to and from can the airport is also very convenient! The airport limousine bus (6002) drop off spot is just across the street and the pick up location is just a 5 minute walk away from this location. Included breakfast is always a plus! It is not super fancy, but if you are a light breakfast eater, this gets the job done. Otherwise, I had no issues during my stay!

Very friendly and clean ! Good location in the old part of the city close to the main sights and markets. Transportation is also excellent and nearby to go anywhere in the city. Very quiet at night if you are looking to have somewhere not noisy and crowded.

A number with separate beds has only on a third floor, w/o elevator.

The hostel is located in the center of Seoul. The price includes breakfast, easy but tasty and sufficient. The room is not big, but enough for rest, in the room, has a quiet refrigerator. Bed linen and towels are clean. On the A-floor has citchen with water boiler, cofemashine, cutlery, electric stove, and iron. The hostel within walking distance, there are several historical places: palaces and memorials. There is a market nearby, foodcourts, farmacies, and subway. Good price/quality ratio. Before the trip, I had some problems with the credit card. The hostels staff approved my payment in cash , for which a great respect, thank you very much! Staff is friendly and has enough loyalty. p.s. if you are looking for a comfortable and not expensive place for staying downtown, I recommend it!

As a solo traveler, the street to the hostel is quite dark at night. Think its quite safe but still a little uncomfortable

I like that the room is spacious, large bathroom and mini fridge in the room. It’s located close to subway and bus station. Nice staff!
