Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of America•VERY Expensive Laundry charge. Laundry prices should be included in documents or black book provided in hotel •Not enough space in rooms. •Front desk staff/ everytime we talked to them the conversation felt uncomfortable and rushed. It felt like we were a burden when we asked them questions. It also felt like they were giving attitude. •No shower curtain •Stains on new/“clean” sheets/ pillowcases. .Front desk staff cares more about the wedding parties then the guests. •If a pool is provided, then it should be stated that a swimming cap is needed or atleast sold at the front desk of the pool. (Only thing stated to bring was swimming attire but nothing else) •Small bugs in sink at times.
•The bed was comfortable •The view was nice •The price of our stay wasn’t bad •The room service workers were always polite and understanding.

JapanThe building is pretty old and the room did not feel so clean. Staff wasnt very friendly but wasnt rude as well, for a hotel staff i would expect a little bit more. We rented an umbrella from the hotel when it was raining and there was a literal hole in the umbrella, it would be great to maybe purchase some new ones there.
The location is really nice. No one really bothered us there, bed was really comfortable.

I like its seat because I used the metro and its seat isn't so far with the metro. Moreover, the front staffs could use English language to connect. I think it is better. However, I didn't know the culture of Korea. Did they like to hold weddings in August? I met about 10 or 9 weddings during this weekend. It is interesting for me.

United States of Americathe first two rooms were dirty and gross. after changing rooms twice we requested and paid to be upgraded to the movers rooms at $40/n.
the 13th floor we moved to after we had to move two other times and paid for any grade was good value. the 1st room was like 80° and the air con didn’t work, neither did the regular temp control. they moved us to a room where the window opened, but it was horrible. stains on the walls and floors, the window latch was falling off… it was gross. we told the front desk, which were nice enough, but made us pay for an upgrade to the nicer rooms in the hotel, the upgrade cost $40/n. the Chinese restaurant was quite good. all individual rooms w doors, so we didn’t have to worry about CoVid.

South KoreaI booked a room with a double bed and bathtub, but instead they gave me a king-size bed and no bathtub. So sad. There were also a lot of mosquitoes in the room, and no shower shoes or bidet.
The room had a good air conditioner and fast wifi.

NetherlandsEverything else! The rooms were incredibly dirty, everything looked poorly maintained and old. There were electrical cables hanging in the shower and the toilet leaked with every flush. The fact that there are so many shows and events happening in their many halls means everything is chaotic and their lifts are not in sync so simply going to your floor was a 10 minute task. Lastly the hotel is not very international accesible, nothing is translated in English so we waited for 30 minutes at the restaurant reception to check in only to finally be told it’s the incorrect place.
The location and size of the bed was great!

Switzerlandthe first room we checked into had such a dirty bathroom, there were dead insects in the shower tub. Obviously was not cleaned. During check in we were 3 travellers, and asked for an extra room card and the reception at first said it was policy to just give 1 and then gave an extra one quite unwillingly.
