Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceIt was not possible to pay by credit card. So i had to go to bank to change money.
Best position to visit Astana. It is just one block away from Bayterek tower and bus stop to take bus to airport. There is also a commercial center nearby with food court. It was easy to find with informations given. From the window of the room i could see the top of Bayterek tower. The room was very big, clean and soundproof and bathroom was nice too. Wifi was good. Bed was very confortable. It is more a guest house than an hotel. There was a water tank to use for free in the corridor. The woman at the reception , who is sleeping in another room, was not speaking english but she was friendly and put me in contact by phone with another woman who was speaking good english and answered all my questions. Very good tradeoff between price/quality service

KazakhstanExcelent location, a short walk away from the main atractions around the Bayterek area. The place is more an apartament than an hotel, but the rooms were just ok. Mila, who is in care of the reception, speaks only a little English, but she was always very helpfull and responsive, with a nice smile on her face. The host provided beforehand detailed information on how to get to the address, normally a tricky issue in Kazakhstan. Overall, very good relation price/quality.

AustraliaThis is in no way a hotel. It has absolutely no signage anywhere indicating a hotel. It doesn't offer any services as a hotel. It is essentially a spare bedroom of the owners apartment. There is a kettle, but they don't provide tea or coffee or drinking water in the room. There is a fridge space in the room, but no fridge. Instead, the fridge is a communal fridge outside. But the worst was the "bed". Definitely not a bed, more a very uncomfortable fold out sofa. It had gaps, and springs, such that I had to sleep sideways. Also, no top sheet provided. It would be ok at a lower price, but it is very poor value for money at the price I paid.
Great location. Right accross from Baiterek. Quiet and Clean. Good hot water. Good wifi. Bedside table and convenient power for charging. Owner allowed me to check-in very early (for a fee).

IndiaThere is little to no privacy in the room. You can easily hear what the neighbours at the next door are doing (which means they can hear you as well). 10:00 Pm - 9:00 Am are quiet hours for the apartment, which is fine but this also means that we could hardly speak at night without worrying that we may wake up the neighbours! Another privacy issue! Biggest issue of all - We couldn't lock the bathroom door from the inside. On the very first day, it got stuck and the administrator had to call a sanitary engineer to open it, who in no uncertain terms stated that we shouldn't lock the door at all ! Yet again another privacy issue! There is no accessible kitchen, but they provide a mini refrigerator and microwave. Overall the apartment truly sucks when it comes to privacy! However, if you can get past these issues, it's a good apartment in an excellent location within the city. So would we go back to this apartment ? Most likely not, because we as a couple cherish our privacy, especially while on a vacation.
The location was excellent. It was right in the centre of the city

United StatesThis is not a hotel. It’s an apartment with two rooms used as “hotel” rooms. They also do not accept credit cards, we had to go find an atm to get cash to pay. Why are they allowed to advertise that they take cards?
