Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The hotel is that is very nice and modern with a small restaurant in the bottom and a nice little pool. The rooms were great. Location was convenient too. The food we ordered from the hotel menu was a great surprise too.

GermanyLocation is slightly inconvenient if you frequently go to the city center, but the free rides and low taxi and hotel costs compensate for that. Also the Wifi was a bit unstable at times.
Very friendly staff and clean rooms for a great price. They also offer free rides to the city center 4 times daily which is nice.

The staff were really nice and always to help. The hotel has a cafeteria which is quite convenient as you can grab a quick bite before going to bed. The room is a descent size and clean.

GermanyAs most people have said, the location is pretty far away from the main area for restaurants and attractions. Breakfast was fine, but not exciting. Limited options for vegetarians.
The hotel looked quite cool and modern in the photos whereas when we got there, it seemed like an average, middle-range hotel lobby. Everything was clean and comfortable. There is a shuttle van that you can sign up for, I think it goes at 6pm and 7pm. There is a small, well equipped gym behind the lobby.

United StatesClean, comfortable and has a nice outdoor pool with a gym. The hotel isn’t located near the city center so don’t expect to walk there easily. Staff was very accommodating, WiFi worked well and hotel also arranged airport transfers. Rooftop was also really nice at sunset!

The room was absolutely gorgeous. We were lucky to get an upgrade and everything was perfect: The staff was kind and helpful (giving us nice restaurant's addresses, calling a Taxi Loca for us, etc), the bed was big and comfortable, the shower had great pressure and the the bathroom had plenty of space. We did enjoy a lot the sofa and desk areas as it allowed us to work remotely at night (great WiFi all throughout). We are extremely happy with our stay at S2 Modern.

MauritiusThere is a humidity smell in the corridors I believe because they have carpeting and it stays damp because of the climate. Smell does not penetrate the rooms however.
Comfortable rooms, good shower, great breakfast in beautiful cafe downstairs, friendly staff. Was there for 1 short night between flight so cannot comment about location. They have a pool and a gym but I did not have time to use any.
