Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

MaltaAlthough I have booked sea view rooms as shown in description of Booking.com, none of them fulfilled that requirement. The reason being that the hotel meant that the rooms are on the side where the sea is but not necessarily having a sea view. I think this is misleading, especially because I paid extra to get them. Moreover, during breakfast there was no coffee or hot drinks around. When I ordered them, I was asked to pay extra in cash on the first 3 days (1 dollar for each coffee or water bottle). On the last day, another person in charge of breakfast area did not ask for case and he informed me that coffee was included with breakfast free!!! I guess I was tricked. There is no public transport in the area and you can't walk much as it is a bit secluded, hilly and unsafe for pedestrians.
I liked the room decor and the facilities such as coffee making and microwave.

IrelandI want to thank Mr Marwan the manager of the hotel and Mr Antoine the head of waiters for their professionalism , dedication and the best customer services they showed u. And not to forget Eddie the barman at the pool he is fantastic . The hotel itself is cosy , beautiful , excellent location and has all what you need . One area I would like to highlight is the breakfast selection of food , I understand it’s Lebanese theme however some more choices for example :selection of bread will make a difference.

South AfricaI had booked the hotel and then I found a cheaper flight, and in addition to finding a cheaper flight my flight changed. I contacted the hotel and changed my dates, so the initial booking was 198 dollars without tax. After making the change, I enquired and I knew it was my fault so I said I will pay, but the hotel reservations team said they will try their best to accommodate me, so i went along with the modification. The new price was 110.40 dollars with tax. I was happy that the hotel understood my situation. When I got to the hotel, I knew that the hotel was 110.40 dollars, but the hotel receptionist said no, the full amount is charged, so they took 198 dollars. The receptionist also said my room comes with breakfast, so I thought this was either complimentary or an upgrade, to compensate for the mistake, I get to the breakfast hall before my tour the next morning, I was starving because I got in late, and didn't have time to get a meal. The restaurant attendant told me no breakfast is allocated for me. I have to pay, so I said the receptionist said I could come for breakfast, the restaurant attendant enquired with the receptionist and she got back to me and said no sir, you have to pay. The hotel receptionist did not even have the decency to apologise for her mistake. I looked at my booking and I realised yes I didn't pay for breakfast, but why would you tell me my room comes with breakfast if you know I didn't pay. Hence, my reason for thinking it was complimentary or an ungrade. I was frustrated and had to run because I had a tour. After my tour, it was around dinner time, I went down for dinner, and ordering food was such a hassle. The hotel Internet was so bad that I couldn't even scan the code for the menu. I eventually got through with the kind restaurant attendant (a new one on night shift), and she helped me with the little English she knew.
The place was comfortable to stay in. But not for the price that I paid. There was an amazing waitress on night shift and she helped me order my dinner even hough the hotel Internet was bad and she had poor English, but we got through to ordering dinner, because after my tour I was famished.
