How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Trevor's customer service was top tier ensuring we were comfortable at all times and that we enjoyed the island during our stay. Bellevue Hideaway 10/10 highly recommend! 👌🏾

Verified reviewWe spent as 1 couple and me as a single person 2 wonderful family weeks in the house. The house is very spacious, clean, beautifully furnished and really big. It is equipped with everything you need and is lovingly and thoughtfully furnished. The view of the sea is incredible, both from the beautiful large terrace, various terraces around the house and from the two large bedrooms. The 3rd bedroom we did not use, but is also a nice room. The garden is very well maintained and it was always very quiet. The evening sunset is beautiful. We already miss the view very much. The hosts were always available if we had any questions and were extremely friendly and helpful. When we arrived late in the evening from the airport and after basic shopping from the supermarket, we were delighted with the fruit and the very tasty chilled white wine, as well as 3 bottles of water. Thanks again for that! The bedrooms were also pleasantly cool for us on arrival thanks to the air conditioning. With our rental car we were able to explore the island wonderfully from the house. We are glad that we had a four-wheel drive rental car, as the last section up to the house is very steep, but not at all complicated. However, if you plan to explore the island, a four-wheel drive car is recommended anyway. We hope to come back again. Thank you for your hospitality Colette and Trevor!!!

Verified reviewThis is a great place with amazing views. Its easy to get to every where from this property. You need to have a car to stay here and the addtess is not yet in google maps, it took me ltittle while to figure the route, but otherwise it was a great stay.
thanks so much, it was nice hosting you and your family. Things are a bit slower in the Caribbean when it comes to Google Maps. That's why we meet out guest and have them follow us to the villa. After that, it's easy for them to remember the road.

Verified reviewThe host was very accommodating and hands on available if any help was needed. The roads were a bit rough and my rental car got stuck and i called the host and his wife they were so helpful and they helped get my car out from being stuck going uphill. Great husband and wife team ,excellent people . Definitely will stay at there location when i visit again

Verified reviewThe house was in a great location for everything we wanted to do in Rodney BaY and Gros Islet. The views were incredible and watching the sunset over the ocean every night was like a dream . The house was so clean and had all the comforts of home. Trevor and his wife were amazing in answering any questions we had and they were the best hosts anyone could hope for when you are on vacation and this far away from home. We will definitely be back and would stay here again ! The rates were amazing for this huge 3 bedroom , 3 bathroom home that came equipped with everything we could possibly need.
We honestly don't any anything bad to say about this property or the owners ! It was one of the best places we have ever stayed on vacation

Verified reviewThe place was very comfortable, beautiful view, spacious, peaceful away from the noise. Has all amenities, you won't regret staying there. It's not too far from the Friday Night Street Party. I would recommend this place to everyone. The people always checked up on us to see if we were okay 😊🤗
The road is a lil rugged just closer to the place nothing that can't be handled, but it's worth it. Once you have a four- wheeler you're okay.
