“We stayed at the family homestay for six nights. Everything was well prepared and clean.
The host is super friendly and helped us with everything we needed. She made us fresh breakfast every day at the arranged time.
The room is simple, with a large bed. Everything is new and in good condition. A big bonus is the shared living room right in front of the two guest rooms.
The family is open hearted, so we spend some time with them, which we enjoyed a lot.
They also can arrange trips and activities in the area.
The homestay is very close to the beach. At the beach is a restaurant. Some more restaurants are at the main road, about a 10 minute walk.
The Batticaloa area only has little tourism, therefore it was great for us to have such a helpful host.”

The room was clean and the bathroom too. My room had a garden too.
There is the possibility to do laundry and rent a bicycle. The owner was the best. Always a smile on his face and he made me feel at home. He helped me too when I was recovered in the hospital and he came visit me to see if I was OK and brought me a blanket and food.
