“Our stay at The Beach Gate Villa was truly unforgettable. Sarath is the kindest host we met on our journey, and he made us feel like part of his own family. The breakfasts were simply the best of our entire trip, and the rooms were the cleanest and most well-equipped we had in Sri Lanka. We especially appreciated the large, comfortable beds, as not all double beds on the island are spacious enough for two. The villa itself has a beautiful terrace and garden, where we enjoyed watching birds and squirrels, and the peaceful location is just a few minutes’ walk from a quiet, empty beach. There are also plenty of activities nearby, such as a river safari in Bentota, an Indian restaurant, and a Buddhist shrine. We loved it so much that we extended our stay to four nights and were genuinely sad to leave.”
