    “Perfect location, close to main street, and peaceful location. Very helpful host and delicious breakfast. Excellent cooking class right next door. Basic but great value for money. Just be aware that the steps into accommodation are very rustic but manageable.”

    “Such a beautiful place with such nice people! Away from the hustle and bustle, you can look directly into the greenery from the terrace.Only a 5-minute walk from the train station and a 10-minute walk to the town center. There were five of us with three children in the family room, which was perfect. The breakfast is formidable with fresh fruit from their own garden and much more. My son and my husband had a birthday during our stay and received a cake from the host couple. Super nice! The host organized a great tour to a waterfall and drove us to our next destination. Everyone is very, very nice and helpful. We will definitely be back! A clear recommendation!”

    “Fantastic breakfasts overlooking the beautiful mountains surrounding Ella! Host was charming and very helpful, he brought round the cats and puppy for our kids to meet which they loved. It's nice and quiet compared to the madness in Ella's main strip, just a few passing Tuktuks :) You can easily walk down to Ella (and get a tuktuk back if the walk is a bit steep for you). There are restaurants very close by in Waterfall road, a yoga class and spa treatments further down - everything you could ask for.”

    “Excellent Stay – perfect location and staff. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay a relaxed one. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is absolutely fantastic close to the city center and rooms with a stunning view over Ella Rock. Breakfast is served on the balcony. Beware of the monkeys ;-) Staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. From check-in to check-out, the service was great. The service throughout our stay was excellent — efficient, professional, and very personal. The room itself was very spacious and equipped with everything you need. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. You could always send them a WhatsApp message for questions. Thank you for making our stay a very pleasant one!”

    “The manager was extremely kind and helpful. He arranged for us a cheaper van for our transportation needs, he found us reliable guides for harder hikes and he kept bringing us fruits that he collected from the garden. The location may seem a little far but you won't take the usual road that maps show and you use the railway route to walk to the city and it takes like 15-20 mins after you get used to walking on the rails.”
