Very good hotel. The restaurant is very good and the staff very friendly. The rooms and sheets are clean. The pool is very nice and very large! A very pleasant place for our last leg of the trip.

Very quiet property with or in a big garden. Everything is very simple. The staff and the owner are taking care of you. The pool is very clean and warm. They love nature, they have peacocks and monkeys are not far, but they don’t come to disturb at all.

Cockroaches in all the rooms . Bathrooms were not really clean n overall maintenance were not up to 4 star standards. Check in 2 pm and checkout at 11 am . if you compare to Kumbura, Heritage you will be disappointed. Hard to find the hotel, out of the way from attractions.

We were 12 of us ,the pool area was big n nice certainly the best part of the hotel, breakfast was very filing with a mix of Srilankan n Western .Also the Srilankan person making breakfast was very supportive and attentive to our needs. they gave us an early check in n a late check out. felt more like a home stay than a hotel

Good food at the restaurant and overall super friendly staff. They also provided a contact to arrange a safari at the Wilpattu park. The hotel was outside of the city, but we were very happy with that since the city was extremely busy

When I first drove down the bumpy, narrow road leading to the hotel, I must admit I felt a bit underwhelmed. It was clear that the property could use some maintenance. However, upon closer inspection, I began to notice the charming details that give this place a truly unique character.

The best thing about this hotel is its location—completely immersed in nature. You hear no traffic or human noise, just the sounds of wildlife. Peacocks, rare hornbills, chipmunks, and even bats at night make it feel like a magical retreat. Naturally, being in a jungle means you might encounter a few insects in your room, but that’s to be expected if you leave doors or windows open. The centerpiece of the property is the pool, which creates a beautiful sunny spot where you can relax and soak in the tranquil atmosphere. The surrounding trees provide just the right amount of shade from the blazing sun. The staff are outstanding. Everyone I interacted with spoke good English, and they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure a great stay. While the hotel’s setting is lovely, it does need some upgrades and better maintenance. Despite this, I enjoyed my stay so much that I decided to extend it. The friendliness of the staff, the excellent service at the restaurant, and the amazing pool, all nestled in the heart of nature, more than made up for any shortcomings. Staying at this special place, located in Sri Lanka’s sacred spiritual capital, deepened my connection to the energies of the city. It’s a unique experience I will remember fondly.

My bathroom was not clean. I had to remove the toothpaste on the mirror from the former guest. I also cleaned the toilet again.

Loved the location. Big pool and good food. Big portions so if you are a smaller eater take one portion. Friendly and helpful staff
