We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful room with a terrace. The room was lovely and very well-equipped – it had everything we needed, including a first-aid kit, kettle, fridge, cosmetics, and drinking water. The location is perfect: just a 2-minute walk to a stunning beach and about 10 minutes to the Silent Beach. Everything was very clean, and there was always hot water available. The host was extremely kind and helpful, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. Breakfasts were delicious and varied – we stayed for two days and got different meals each morning, both of which were excellent. The freshly squeezed juices were also amazing. The surrounding area and garden are absolutely beautiful, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended!

ANB Surf View was absolutely perfect. The room was spotless, we had everything that was needed for a very comfortable stay. The location was great, it was a very short walk to a beautiful beach cove. Breakfast was great, it changed daily. Manoj and his wife ran a very tight ship, organised down to a T. We will definitely stay here again.

The room was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. We loved the little terrace in the stunning garden. The owner was very kind and location excellent right next to a beach. Breakfasts were amazing.

This is a fantastic place to stay. Peaceful with a lovely garden terrace. Delicious varied breakfast. 2 mins from the beach and a short walk to local restaurants and Silent beach.

The owner is nice, although a bit withdrawn. Communication in English is possible, but at a very basic level.

The cottage is located in a quiet area, 15 minutes walk from Silent Beach. The room is spacious, there is air conditioning and beach towels, which is a very big plus. A hairdryer or umbrella is also available upon request. The owner agreed to early check-in without an additional fee, for which we are very grateful! The breakfast was very good, one of the best omelettes we have eaten in Sri Lanka.

We had a wonderful stay in a very comfortable cottage, nestled in a beautiful garden full of animals and birds. Our daughters were thrilled with the two huge beds and their own private terrace. The breakfasts were the best, and every day offered something different. Walking distance to many coves for a swim or snorkel. A big thank you to Manoj and his lovely wife – you can truly feel the heart and care they've put into everything here.

Not at all the owner’s fault but I was in the room on the ground floor and I could hear the family with children above me moving furniture, children crying etc. all the time. the owner promptly apologized for that even though I didn’t mention it.

Very clean, spacious room with a terrace in front where it’s possible to lay down and read/relax. Not even 200m from a very quiet beach where it’s possible to swim and snorkel (someone I spoke with was able to see turtles). Tasty and abundant breakfast, different every day. Friendly family taking care of everything. The price was absolutely fair

Very spacious and comfortable room with a seating area outside to relax in among the many plants in the luscious garden. Only a very short walk to unakaruwa beach as well as silent beach a bit further down the coast. The breakfast was also delicious!

It wasn't a problem but if you book through booking.com you will have to pay the owner Manoj in cash. Card payment not accepted. We payed him with Australian Dollars Also carry cash for paying for meals etc. in the smaller eateries.

We liked everything. The property is located in a quiet small fishing village. The property grounds etc are beautiful. There are turtles, peacocks, squirrels, fireflies at night etc. Everyone we met or passed by were genuinely friendly. Tuk tuks are cheap. The host Manoj and his wife cooked us a beautiful different breakfast every morning. Much to much food. We surfed and Aldo took a fishing trip with the lads from the village lucking into some nice tuna. There is a variety of options in the area for meals and the beers were always cold. As it is still off season, not all the restaurants were open.

3 of us from the UK stayed one night. It's a lovely guesthouse with a very good room. Breakfast was great. We'd have loved to have stayed longer if we'd had more time.

We are a family and we loved ANB Surf View. It was perfect. We had the upstairs room, which was spacious and clean and had a little kitchen. The kitchen was handy for making some snacks for the kids after a few weeks of travelling. The terrace out the front was great for relaxing, looking over the gorgeous garden. The owners were so helpful and friendly. And the breakfasts were superb! Great location, just a short wander down to the beach - we all spent hours in the water. We hired surfboards from the friendly guy at the beach and watched the turtles surfacing for air.

Nothing to complain about. Maybe a recommendation that a fan on the terrace would be great. And maybe some extra chairs.

Nice family room with two large beds. Beautiful garden outside, full of trees and animals. Wi-fi worked perfectly! (The best of all places we stayed in). We liked the shower in the garden, to remove the sand from the beach. We liked also little kitchen in the apartment. Breakfast was just perfect and so rich that it was enough for the midday snack too. Nice beaches and restaurants nearby, also small shop few steps away. Tuk-tuks were parked on the street right in-front of the house, so it was easy to explore the area. Owner was very friendly, he gave us also the mangos from the tree in the garden and bananas. We stayed for a week, and we felt it like in home!

We absolutely loved this place. Manoj, the host looked after us extremely well, nothing was too much trouble and he, his wife and family are really welcoming people. The place itself is a little paradise and which is very well maintained. View of the bay was outstanding and we sat marvelling at monkeys, peacocks, squirrels and a vast array of birds from the balcony, including fireflies at night. A 2 minute walk to the beach where you can swim all the time and watch the surfers do their stuff. It was so beautiful we extended our stay. Breakfast was both huge and tasty, something different every day.

All was good.

Lovely spot, very close to a small, calm beach. The veranda was large enough for a table, lawn chairs, and drying rack. It was surrounded by beautiful plants and trees. We saw the peacock next door. Great breakfast. Clean.

Picking holes but some yogurt and more fruit at breakfast vs all the egg would have been lovely. Bathroom was classic SL wet room style, so usual wet everything, but in this weather dries in no time.
