Our stay at Andorra Tourist Resort was truly memorable. The highlight is definitely the beautiful swimming pool, perfect for relaxing after exploring the area. The managers were simply fantastic — friendly, attentive, and always present in just the right way. Their warm hospitality made us feel at home, and the heartfelt goodbye was moving. The breakfast was excellent, tasty and abundant, and the property’s location made it very easy to reach Anuradhapura quickly. We were traveling by car and appreciated the convenient on-site parking. The rooms were spotless, well kept, and provided with complimentary toiletries in generous supply. A perfectly run resort, highly recommended to anyone visiting the area!

Just a heads up - they don’t have a menu so sometimes it’s just whatever is easiest

The staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating; they helped us organise a tuktuk tour around the sites and made delicious breakfasts for us every morning and dinner on request. Even when I ordered a coke and they were all out, they went all the way to the store just to get me one. We really appreciated their service. The pool was well maintained and a great way to cool down during the hot weather and we had a beautiful view of the paddy fields from our balcony.

If anyone looking for a dedicated parking, there is a limited one. But this does not matter a lot to the guests.

The property was amazing, and it was a really good experience overall. All the facilities provided as expected during our stay. Property was clean. It was convenient for us also to access all the places that we wanted to visit. In overall I can recommend Andorra for all the guests who are looking for home feeling.

The accommodation is located outside of Anuradhapura, you have to take tuktuk every time you want to go somewhere, try Pick me at the main road.

The staff was very friendly. They prepared dinner for us on arrival so we didn't have to go into town and advised us on many things, such as how to get to certain sights, what time of day to go there, etc. The room was clean and pleasant. Breakfast was plentiful. We spent our first night here after arriving and it was a nice introduction to Sri Lanka.

The owners are incredibly sweet. Cooked amazing breakfast and dinner for us. You could ask them anything and they would always respond with a big smile. The pool was amazing, especially after a full day of visiting the temples. I can't recommend this place more! Thank you for your kindness and great food

Our stay at Andorra Tourist Resort was, without a doubt, one of the most memorable experiences of our three-week journey through Sri Lanka. What truly sets this place apart is not the comfort or amenities – but the people. The hotel is run by a wonderful couple whose warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality made us feel like we were visiting old friends rather than checking into a hotel for the first time. Breakfast was a real highlight – generous, delicious, and far beyond what we expected. The pool was a perfect place to relax and cool down during the hottest part of the day. While the room itself had a few small areas that could be improved, it honestly didn’t matter – because the heart of this place lies in the people who run it. We left with two beautiful delicious avocados and even more beautiful memories. If our path ever brings us back to Sri Lanka, we would return here without a second thought. Thank you both so much for your time, your stories, and for making us feel so welcome. Thank you.

Staff was good and food were served and good, but I did not know that the prior we have to tell what we want. It is better if they have menu for the guests to choose. Also, the description of the room was different, but it is oaky, for one night, Staff was kind enough to arrange the room.

This was a good stay. Staff is very nice and helpful. But I got two different price quotation. Probably due to host's app and my booking.com app is not correctly coordinated. but I am not sure.

We had a wonderful time at Andorra Tourist Hotel. The staff is very friendly and polite. They will do their best to let you have a great time and will do anything to help/inform you. The rooms were very clean and have a nice view. Price/quality excellent!

A great stay juts outside Anuradhapura with easy access to all sites and lovely lovely staff. The breakfast is good, the view from the room is nice. I would definitely recommend this place.

We arrived at the end of a month long trip around Sri Lanka, stopping over on our way from Jaffna to Negombo. We were exhausted and found the guest house to be tranquil, comfortable and hospitable. Exactly what we needed! I had an amazing sleep. The owners were kind and helpful, and quickly prepared us a lovely breakfast before we hit the road again. The pool was ideal to cool off in after a long drive. We didn't set out to explore the sights of Anuradhapura but I could see there were bikes there so I'm sure it would be a good base for this.

Predeep and Deepika were fabulous. Warm, welcoming and humorous from the start. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and the accommodation is lovely, away from the hustle and hustle of town. The pool was small but a perfect way to cool down at the end of the day.

The staff are charming and very helpful. Dibika is a fantastic cook. We loved the view over the paddy fields from our room. Although small, the pool is very refreshing. The property is in a quiet location but you can walk to a good local restaurant if you want to. It’s handy for the sites. We enjoyed having a sofa in our room. Not a common feature in Sri Lanka. We look forward to returning to Andorra resort one day.

I had an amazing experience staying at the Andorra Rest House in Anuradhapura! The hospitality was top-notch, with the kindest service from the staff, especially the warm-hearted akka and ayya who made us feel like family. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to key attractions. The food was absolutely delicious, each meal a treat to the taste buds! Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Anuradhapura – you won't be disappointed!

Lovely helpful owners. The room is comfortable with a great view over the paddy fields. A little out of town, but just a short tuk tuk ride and a pretty setting away from the chaos! Really well situated to visit the old town (the owners lent me a bike) and for the bus to minhintale.

Our hosts Predeep and Deepika were absolutely fabulous. There was nothing they wouldn't help with and always had the biggest smiles. They really made our stay. Assisting with transport, local knowledge and history. Breaky was also delicious especially those coconut pancakes. We were even given a bigger family room, as in their words 'ooh you are big people' 😅
