It is difficult to find and there were no signs on the road. Since the hotel was down a by lane, google maps didnt accurately show the location either. The pool is meant to be private but people can see us from the balcony area upstairs. This defeats the purpose of having the pool in a walled in area. Would be great if the pool was completely private. It would be nice to have a mini fridge too since the hotels is away from the shops and there is no room service.

No fridge in the room to put drinks in, there was a fridge outside in a common area. The road in is very bumpy, but we understand this is beyond the hotels control. The google map directions are not correct so it was a bit tricky to find, but again not the fault of the owners.

Quiet and away from the busy Main Street. It was nice to have our own private pool.

Breakfast was subpar. We didn't expect much however, it was below that. If you can, book the room without breakfast.

The room was spacious and cozy, and the pool area was nice. But the service was very disappointing. We booked with breakfast included, but it never arrived despite multiple calls. At checkout, staff had no idea about it, and follow-up calls were ignored. We paid 60$ for poor customer service. Not recommended.

There was no electricity for over 2 hours. Not even the fans were working. It was raining and we had to call multiple times to get even an umbrella. They said it’s not their problem that electricity isn’t there. There was no hot water in the shower on both the days we were there. They charged for breakfast but didn’t give anything. The care taker wasn’t helpful. The approach to the place was terrible. Difficult to get car. The pool edges were very sharp and we got cut as well.

Friendly and helpful staff. The room is very clean and well maintained, the pool and bathtub are absolutely fantastic. The bed was very comfortable. Not far from the beach. I suggest this place to anyone staying in Hikkaduwa!

Location wise this place is difficult to find even with google maps, live location etc. It is not on the main road it is down an unlit dirt path across the railway line so just worth noting for night time. The nearest shop is maybe 15 mins walk or a short tuk tuk ride away. It does mean you’re not getting the night time noise from the main road or beach, you’re a bit removed from that and in a quieter environment with lots of nature around. A window or fly screen from the bathroom to the pool area who hold be helpful for keeping the pesky bugs out rather than a bamboo screen.

Fab little villa with your own private pool! Massive perk! The bedroom was modern, simple & clean. The pool area has a shaded lounging area and a cute little garden. The bed was cosy, there is a safety box, no hair dryer, no fridge but there is water, tea & coffee Bathroom was clean, there is a walk in shower and huge bath with some toiletries. Wi-Fi worked great. The on duty staff was excellent, he was friendly and helpful and made a super tasty simple breakfast sandwich, coffee & fruit juice which he brought to the room. He was always around if you needed anything and helped to co ordinate with lost drivers.
