Beautiful, clean, modern and host was very accommodating. Comfortable beds, hot water 🥰 we were welcomed with hot tea. The property has a beautiful swimming pool and looks very aesthetic 😍

We paid for a villa with a private pool however, found that we were also connected to the main kitchen meaning staff were always close by, therefore limiting privacy.

The staff and owner are very friendly, the facilities were both clean and relaxing, staff incredibly helpful and couldn't do enough to help us. A retreat from the busy city of Colombo.

Nothing! Except that the WIFI in the bedrooms was dodgy sometimes

The Hosts were exceptionally hospitable! The Villa was very comfortable, we planned to stay there for 2 nights and ended up extending it to 6 nights! I'd highly recommend the Colombo Villa Collection to anyone visiting Colombo, it is close to everything yet nestled away from all the noise and hustle. We will be coming back for sure!

I don't know where to start... Rukie was an exceptional host, and has become a good friend after the trip. Everything you need she will provide or help you find! We will be staying here for our future trips to Sri Lanka. Cannot recommend more!!

Nothing - everything was excellent.

Really spacious and comfortable. Huge kitchen and living room area and bed, big bathroom and a nice balcony too. Also off the main busy road but still a short and cheap tuktuk / car ride away from all of Colombo’s best sites.

Perfect place for staying hone and recharging. Top-notch apartment, has everything you need , very private and comfy. Quiet neighborhood, 5 min by tuk-tuk to the store.

The warmest welcome one could wish to find . Particularly at 11pm. Owner Rukie was not only there to greet us after our flight, she provided refreshments from her own supply and then non intrusively was a wealth of information. Breakfast from the staff was incredible. The place was spotless. This is not a hotel, nor a villa. It is a home away from home. Greeted by Rohane the next morning, this couple are definitely in the right business. Thank you for a truly amazing stay. My only complaint is that we stayed one night. . Like general mcarthur, we shalt return.

Beautiful family run villa just on the outskirts of Colombo bordering Nugegoda. Both Rohan and Rukie are very kind warm and welcoming. I was extreme touched by the vegan 🌱 Bibikkan they brought in as a treat for my 50th birthday. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very cozy. The breakfasts are FABULOUS. They both really go above and beyond with local recommendations, laundry and even kept my suitcase safe while I traveled Sri Lanka for 2 weeks. This is an exceptional option in Colombo and a great value - don’t even hesitate to book here if you are lucky to find availability!

It's a little distance from the city centre - which I didn't mind as transport in tuk tuks is so easy and the plus is the quietness of the area.

Very comfortable place to stay with great hosts who took the time to get to know me. As a solo traveller I really appreciated that. Nice swimming pool and outside space Very comfy bed - probably the best I'd had in two weeks of travelling around Sri Lanka. Good advice on places to eat. I'd definitely stay here again if I come back to Colombo.

We had a really great time! We felt very welcomed by Rohan and his wife. We got breakfast (even though it was already noon, we didn't realize because our european clocks hadn't changed 😅) and they took time to talk to us. Very clean, comfortable room! We can highly recommend!

I recently stayed at Ara by Colombo Villas and it was an incredible experience. It's right in the city, so everything is super convenient, yet the place is amazingly peaceful and quiet. The villa is beautiful, with lovely gardens and stylish interiors. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a busy day. The staff were wonderful—really friendly and always ready to help. If you're looking for a perfect blend of city life and tranquility, I can't recommend Ara by Colombo Villas enough!
