The hotel was modern and had everything we wanted. It was pretty and everything was well arranged. The breakfast was delicious and you could buy a caramel frappuccino and we loved it. We had sea sight and it was very nice with a balcony.

Loved that the hotel is beach facing so you can enjoy the Dewata beach from the restaurant as well as from the room (if you book the sea facing one). The staff are extremely nice and helpful. They provided suggestions for food, shopping, etc and were always available to help me through my stay. This place is a stay haven especially for women and solo travellers. It’s centrally located and is close to both the Galle fort, Rumassala beach, Unawatuna, and Dalawella beaches. Now let’s talk about the food here, I booked with breakfast inclusion and they have continental and Sri Lankan breakfast options. The food is delicious and the quantity is amazing. The food is made with the best quality ingredients. The room is perfectly sized for 2 people and the bed is super comfortable. There is cleanliness maintained and having a private access to the beach is cherry on the top. Overall, I had the best stay in Azuri Bay, and my thanks to Zayan and team for doing an excellent job!

I really like the location of the hotel. we can swim everyday and a surfing instuctors are just beside it. The empliyees are also very approchable and kind. Overall,its a good experience

Amazing location with the waves lapping up to the hotel. Perfect if you want to try surfing or swim. Great cafe located within the hotel and only 3km from the fort. Petrol station and large supermarket close by. If you can choose the rooms with a Seaview and small balcony, so lovely in the evening. Great staff willing to help with anything you need. Amazing brekkie.

The room is a bit small and there's noise around because it is right on the main road, but VERY manageable; it wouldn't bother you much.

Everything really; the view is spectacular right on the beach, the hotel is modern, well maintained, clean, the breakfast is tasty and filling, the staff is super nice and helpful.

Modern, amazingly clean and high quality, it shows that owners put a lot of effort and attention to detail. I’m not joking when I say that their coffee can be easily compared to European quality standards and breakfast has maaany options including Benedict eggs which we enjoyed 😌 staff is super polite and helpful, they went above and beyond for us to ensures we had the best time. We will definitely remember our stay here as one of the highlights of our entire trip through Srilanka.

What a gem! A modern place, room with balcony overlooking beach was superb. Facilities within room, comfortable. Host very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Restaurant provided excellent food, seating indoors & outdoors overlooking beach. Breakfast was delicious. Thanks to Hasitha for looking after me. Tuk tuk rides easy, 10 mins into Galle. I had the pleasure of staying at Azuri Bay in Dewata with my boyfriend, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. The property is absolutely stunning, with an incredible view. The location is perfect, offering easy access to local attractions (near Unawatuna and Galle, while avoiding the touristic and crowded places) while still providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The accommodation itself is spacious, modern, and tastefully designed, making it feel like a home away from home. Whether you’re relaxing on the balcony or exploring the nearby beach, everything about this place is top-notch. I highly recommend Azuri Bay for anyone looking to visit Sri Lanka !

Property is new, cosy and very beautiful. Everything is clean and stylish. They have a restaurant too with a nice variety of tasty dishes. Location is on the beach so could not be better. Staff is friendly and helpful. They helped us with advice about transportation, which allowed us to catch our flight and still make the most of the day. We really enjoyed our time..

Azuri Bay is a wonderful place to stay! It’s right on Dewata Beach, so you can enjoy a swim or even take a surfing lesson. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, which made our stay even better. The owners were really kind and made sure we had everything we needed. The cafe food was delicious, and we loved how they arranged a special New Year’s local breakfast - kiribath, when we were interested in trying it. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing beach holiday with amazing hospitality. We’d love to visit again!

Everything is perfect here. The property is new and very well maintained. Its located on the beachfront and serves amazing views. The staff is very humble, welcoming and courteous. The room is spacious, modern, clean and directly by the beach. Extremely friendly staff. Great breakfast that’s included, much better than in a big hotel! TukTuk trips to Galle are very cheap (Uber!) and you have a great surf school right next to the hotel. Perfect stay!

The hotel has only four rooms. Two of them were sea facing with decent sized balconies, and two others were facing a busy national highway with 24 hour traffic, with very small balconies. All four rooms are on the first floor of a restaurant, and no other floor above them. They get quite hot during the day unless AC is on. We kept the AC on at 16 degrees C throughout. The bathroom has a window into the room with a non opaque curtain. This may cause privacy issues. The noise of the highway makes sound sleep difficult. The housekeeping is not perfect, and supplies of coffee and milk sachets are not refilled every day unless requested. There is no dedicated parking. There is not much width of the beach (about 15 feet) between the hotel and the sea. And even this is not clean and peaceful, as several beach shacks and restaurants exist all around. If you are a solo traveller not so fussy about noise and lucky enough to get the sea view room, you may like your stay better.

Breakfast was ok. It was not a buffet, but one of a few set menus. The quantity of food is good though the variety is limited. The beds are good. The bed linen and towels are clean. The staff are prompt in their service.

We had a prawn pizza the night we arrived, next day my self and my wife fell very ill for 2 days (the prawns of the pizza might have not been fresh and we got very very ill both of us at the same time, so we decided to not have any food at the restaurant for our following 4 days of our stay - including breakfast.) That following night we had a black out of 8 hours (no AC, no hot water, we had a terrible sleep in a stuffy room) and no one was there to assist. The next night there was another blackout and messaged the person to assist which they did. The toilet seat was not looking that clean. Outside the hotel it often smelled like garbage. Very loud and noisy road - which was ok. No alcohol is served at the restaurant, however the staff were kind enough to make a plan and organise from a nearby place to get me 2 beers.

Is far from Galle fort, but not in a quiet area. Also, the thing I didn’t really appreciate is the personnel not talking to me as a woman and just my husband, while I was the one who booked the place and speak a better english. No worries if it’s not something that bothers you but for this price, it’s not really nice and worth the price (the location’s venue and the fact that we waiting for some time for breakfast because none of them were speaking english). I think it’s a bit overpriced for the service.

The rooms are great - nothing to say ! Very clean, very comfortable. Great sea view also, and this place is also a restaurant which is good for diner/lunch.

Booked a bay view room but got highway view as bay view was occupied - highway is a little noisy.

Located at the center of Unawatuna bay, this is a new place which is very aesthetically done. Rooms are modern and very clean with all facilities. The complimentary breakfast was amazing and filling. Located right next to a surfing school so you can try that too. Staff is so friendly and very helpful. Close to Galle Fort, Thalpe beach, supermarkets.

The hotel is located right next to a busy road, making it very noisy, even at night. It was difficult to get a good night’s sleep because of the constant traffic. Additionally, the breakfast was quite disappointing – limited options and not the best quality. Overall, I expected a more comfortable and enjoyable experience.
