Great location, right on the beach. Quiet and private.Close to Galle. Nice, comfortable holiday house.I had a wonderful experience staying at this place. The service was amazing, and we got everything we needed. The staff at the bar were friendly,polite, and extremely helpful. The man in charge of the plants and housekeeping at holiday housebwas very helpful and friendly. When I stayed in the family house and later in the cabana at Bara Beach, everything was top-notch. The food was great, and the overall atmosphere was just lovely.

The toilets are shared if you book the beach house so can be a bit smelly and a trip down the stairs to go to the toilet in the night.

The property is 6km away from Galle fort but at the most beautiful location along the beach. No need for the 1000Rp tuktuk into town as you can get a v cheap bus ride to and from the bus stop right outside the stay. Peaceful, off the main road and equipped with a restaurant (not the cheapest food but much cheaper than you will find in Galle fort.) Our treehouse room overlooked the beach and sea on 2 sides and was very comfortable, with a fan and mosquito net and the sounds of the waves to send you to sleep.

Stayed in the apartment on the beach. Beautiful little place and quiet. Easy to get a tuk tuk everywhere. Not many restaurants near by but the hotel has one. Great food and friendly staff. The shower sprayed out some which was a little annoying but overall wonderful stay. Great WiFi and ac too

Bathroom was a bit smelly

Hostel staff was super friendly and willing to help with anything. Great location right at the beach, good vibes, and good bed (private cabin at the beach). The food was great too!

No shelf, wall hooks or rails to hang clothes etc so need to store clothes & belongings on floor Dogs create din at night running around on alsynite roof -need gate at bottom of stairs to prevent them going up Squirrels entered front cabana at night & ate fruit in bag - gap at base of wall needs to be sealed. Rough surf during monsoonal season July/Aug & unfortunately beach not swimmable

Beachfront location, tasty vegetarian meals, bus stop opposite to Galle etc, 7kms from Galle bus stand, 15’ walk to supermarket

We only stayed for 1night but had a great time, the staff are absolutely amazing, the views are stunning and the kitchen cooks absolutely delicious food. I wish we would stay here for longer!

Incredible view and very relaxing location. The staff were SO friendly and chatty with us- Rima was great! We celebrated their New years with them so it was great seeing their traditions and having the DJs there.

it was difficult to sleep without air conditioning

Fantastic hosts and location. We had a dreamy little cabin on a paradise beach. There was not air conditioning ( just a fan) and a share clean bathroom. It was a bit rustic but it was really fun for my daughter and for the price, it is really worth it if you dream about having a little room right on the beach. The food is great too! I also like the fact that there are trying to keep their beach cleaned and give incentives to their guests to keep the beach cleaned! well done!

Loved our stay here. Cute beach huts on the beach, great outdoor area with heaps of seating. the standout is the food and drinks. The food was absolutely amazing don’t have to worry about going to different restaurants we ate here every night and it is very cheap. 10/10 would stay and come back

Would be nice to separate the shower from the toilet room for not having a wet floor & toilet and for not having to wait for using the toilet.

The Location of Bara Beach Home is amazing. Directly at the beach and the transfer is possible with the bus (busstop is directly next to this accomodation) or Tuktuk. The stuff is very friendly, helpful and they are doing a good service. The ambience is amazing - very natural, surfer style, cozy and the friendly dogs are loving it too. The "Cabana" and the washroom is very simpel. The price is very nice. I would stay there again!😊

Great Hostel. It's in a beautiful spot right at the Bossa beach. The staff is super kind and give you a great time. Very nice, chill vibe. Will stay again.
