One of the best Hostel in Ella I have travelled so much and stayed in different hostels but by far the best community , we made some friends for life And the host, the BEST Sanju❤️, helped us explore Ella in the best way possible Very near to the Nine Arch bridge and the Ella Train station and in a walkable distance from the city centre We are definitely visiting back here

Amazing hosts, great place to meet people and do activities together. Always recommending and giving advise on your travel plans. Overall had a lot of fun. And they are always ready to take your laundry :)

The hosts were amazing, so carefull, friendly and helpful! We rented scooters (3) and the host was always checking/waiting for everybody which was so sweet. The group of people I met there was like I know them for so long, we just blended, enjoyed, hiked, joked, went out! I ended up extending my staying for one night. The best experience until now in Sri Lanka! Thank you guys, I hope to see you again!

I don't have anything to complain about but it could be good to know that it's a 10 min walk to the city, a bit hilly but very beautiful.

Met the loveliest people here and we went out hiking every day. The staff and owner is very nice and offering tea all the time. The vibe is very homely and relaxed. Everything was comfortable.

This is the best hostel in Ella for sure. The staff weee amazing. So friendly, especially Sanju owner. Really looked after us. Gave great recommendations on what to do and local tips. Omg the breakfast here is amazing. They change it everyday and personalise it each person. Free tea and coffee all day and free drinking water

This hostel is amazing, the best we’ve stayed in in Sri Lanka! The staff go the absolute extra mile for you in every way. It’s super social with family dinners, group activities, cooking classes, and nights out organised all together with the staff. We loved our stay here and met some great people and ate some amazing food at the family dinners for such a cheap price!

The owner is a true angel. I booked 2 nights it ended up being 5. Very quiet location with a great view of the rainforest. Still only a 10 minute walk to the city center. Everything we needed was provided to us immediately. The breakfast was always adapted to personal needs and was incredibly delicious. On the day of our very early departure, he even personally drove a packed lunch for us on his motorbike. We made great friends there and will definitely stay here again next time we're in ella :) Thanks for everything sanju

The rooms are very barebones. The climate is wet around here so the rooms aren't dry, which leads to mould buildup. You couldn't close the door to our room, though that wasnt really a problem.

Super nice breakfast, very helpful hosts and a social atmosphere with a nice common room. The hosts gave you tips on what to do and also provided a laundry service for a decent price

Cleanliness and organization in general needs to be improved. I hope Sanjo makes improvements so his business keeps succeeding. Don't stay here if you're high maintenance. Nothing really bothered me personally because I was having such a good time.

I loved the friendly environment here! The hostel was basic but had everything needed - beds, hot shower, breakfast and most importantly amazing new friends and hosts. Sanjo, the owner, and Imalke took a few of us to an amazing temple and for lunch, the most spicy Sri Lankan food I tried on my trip. The next day I teamed up with other guests to conquer all of Ella's attractions. The vibes were immaculate! 10/10 recommend for layed back backpackers!

The Owner Sanju was very helpful. we booked for 2 nights but one of our friends got ill and had to relocate ourselves near hospital after staying one night which he happily accepted. He also helped us to hire a van and find alternate hotel.
