NetherlandsService was reactive instead of proactive. Cleaning the pool once you start using it, cleaning the room once you asked for it. We had a sewer smell in the bathroom.

NetherlandsThere was quite some noise in our room. Just outside our room was a machine that made a noise every 2 or 3 minutes, also at night. Our room supposed to have 4 beds, but 2 of the 4 ‘beds’ were mattrasses on a very very hot attic. The other two double beds were perfectly fine by the way. The wifi is moderate. No mosquito nets.
The staff is amazing. They are very friendly and helped us out with a lot of things. Our room was super clean. The pool is great! The meals in the restaurant are good.

Sri LankaHowever, the attic has an overhanging concrete slab, full of dust. Therefore, the person sleeping in the attic got a severe sore throat and cough. No towel rack to hang towels.
The room is large and clean. Very nice and the same as the photos on booking.com. Beds are comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had hot water. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

AustraliaHotel facilities needs a detail spring clean and maintenance. Number items not working I.E. lights, sink plug, shower. Wifi constantly drops in and out. Rubbish bin in dinning area left full for my duration. 😬Food is ordinary. The place is looking very tired.
Close lake easy to catch tuk tuk to various sites. Staff friendly.

Sri LankaIn the king suite, the small upstairs futon bed gets cooling from a portable air conditioner, it wasn't working properly and would not provide cool air. Minor issue though as there was still plenty of space in the rest of the room.
Booked the king suite and the room was clean and spacious, probably able to fit up to 8 people if you wanted to. The staff members were welcoming and nice, the food was good. In short, everything we expected from the stay was met and even exceeded.

BelgiumVery large modern room. Everything clean: Swimming pool was also very clean, so remarks about that (from past reviews) seems solved. Pool towels available. Very day we got fresh water in the room. Breakfast is great and generous. We tried both Singalees and western. Beautiful cut fresh fruits. Normally I don’t eat in hotels but we did the first night because of tiredness and returned the second night: to choose exactly the same dishes! Very unlike us! Iow: It was excellent. They have to work on their organisation, because the first night the second dish came later. 2nd night much better. Everything seems really fresh. A fridge to keep the water cool would be nice. A better kitchen organisation and it deserves a 10/10.

Location ideal stay to visit Anuradhapura sacred city. Very clean place with friendly and helpful staff. Room was very comfortable with ample space and kids friendly. We have orders dinner and foods served were very delicious.

AustraliaThe King Suite has a large sofa but no tables at all. A coffee table and a lounge chair would make the room more comfortable. Some maintenance is required in the bathroom for example the washbasin tap doesn’t turn off fully and the bed sheet was torn as was one of the towels.
The King Suite is enormous. It’s the size of a small apartment. The bed (we only used one) was very comfortable. The pool offered welcome relief from the heat. We were able to get our laundry done overnight at a very reasonable price. Breakfast was delicious.

Germany- in general a calm area but temporary kitchen noise and some billiard playing people was not too nice. The unnecessary discussion about paying for bikes. We like to pay any reasonable price if it is agreed on before. Maybe a language problem. Bathroom is a bit old but was clean.
really good breakfast, comfortable beds , nice room, we got help with a driver from the Airport to the hotel. We also got help with taking a bus to Trincomalee. We stayed two nights and visited the ancient area with a bike. We would recommend to take the Bike not from the hotel but from a bike rental store to have a solid and nice bike for such a day trip. Also we had a misunderstanding with the price of the bikes that we took from the hotel, which ended in an unnecessary discussion when leaving. I recommend the hotel to provide proper bikes with a reasonable price. In total we enjoyed the price and value.

Staff was incredibly friendly to us (family with 2 adults and 3 kids between the age of 2-9), from housekeeping to restaurant and front office reception. Even arranged great lastminute seats for the Pera hera event and transport to our next destination. Food was good in the restaurant and reasonably well priced.
