IranThe only negative points for me were the lack of a fridge, no hot water in the shower, and no hand soap. It’s better for travelers to carry their own hand soap, slippers, toilet paper, and insect spray, as these are not usually provided in the rooms. Also, there is a dog in the kitchen area that makes a lot of noise whenever someone wants to go there. The host told me to let him know if I needed anything from the kitchen and that he would take care of it himself, which didn’t feel very comfortable.
It was a nice, comfortable, quiet, and clean place with a good location. The staff were friendly, kind, and helpful. The beds had mosquito nets, which are very useful for preventing bites. I had a private room with air conditioning. I accidentally took the room key with me, but the host came to the next city to collect it, which was very thoughtful and kind of him.

Some guesthouses can be welcoming, good-looking. Other ones, more rarely, become the essence of your travel. This is the case here. I could expect a nice experience by looking at the previous comments, but I was not.preparee to such a kind welcoming from Bimanjee and Akila. My stay here went well beyond any expectations, and I prefered to change my plans and make it longer in order to enjoy it more. We spent 6 days chatting around Akila's good meals, and even went alltogether on a week end at another family house on the forest. The best way to end my year trip for sure.

Sri LankaI had stayed here comfortably for 2 nights. He called me before I checked in to confirm whether he would pick me up. He kindly told me about places to visit around his house. I could eat home-cooked meals for free. His wife's cooking was good. It's also fun to sit in the garden and eat while watching the pretty birds fly in. The family seemed to enjoy communicating with guests, regardless of their commercial purpose. His 4-year-old son always greeted me with a smile. I will come here again next time because I can stay comfortably as if I were staying at a friend's house. If you want to enjoy a comfortable trip at a reasonable cost, you should visit here. Thanks for Bimanjee and his wife.

Greeted with a cocunut and coffee upon arrival. The coffee was plentiful after. This place feels like a home stay and I was made to feel one of the family. I would describe the hosts as kind, genuine, soft and affable. Nothing is too much trouble and I am certain they would do anything to enhance your stay. Infact it's difficult to find the correct superlative in this instance. It goes without saying that I recommend this place.

This place is truly a dream, you can't call it anything else than perfect. I've met a lot of amazing people on my trip around Sri Lanka but this family surpassed it all. So warm, so kind and so caring. I got a coconut as soon as I arrived, they always offered me tea and coffee, they even let you borrow their bike and they drove me to the train station at 5am! Really the dearest people with such a big heart! Also the room is really nice, very comfortable and so clean. If you are in Matara then definitely stay here, you won't regret it. 1000% the best place I‘ve stayed in my 4 weeks in Sri Lanka!
