Unfortunately the fan was very loud which made it difficult to sleep with it on.

We loved our little hostess with the mostest (Numandi), 11yrs old and so helpful and knowledgeable. We also loved the beautiful breakfasts cooked for us. The family room for 4 was a good size with 3 large beds. The gardens were beautiful and the balcony was very peaceful to relax on.

There was a hole in the window to the room so it was quite loud at night with the noises of the jungle (dogs/ monkeys/ birds etc).

The bed was huge and the family were really friendly and it was so lovely to stay with them. We also had A/C which worked well and we had a really lovely breakfast.

The family is so sweet! Lovely hosts , lovely children. The rooms look accordingly to the price. What you will definitely have is a warm welcome and the best food in town!

The toilet tap need to be fixed. And also there’s not enough blankets for all beds. And the blankets are too small and like a sarong. Even smaller than a sarong.

The place is good and breakfast is okay. And had enough space for a family of 5 people.

Some things can use some maintenance but it also has it's charm to stay in a basic room with a local family

We had a very basic family room with 2 double beds and 1 single bed. The owners are a lovely family with 3 daughters. Our 3 daughters loved to play with them and still talk about them a few weeks later :) Breakfast is served on the porch and is very nice. We also had a nice dinner for a good price. The location is a bit out of town but we had a car so it was no problem to get to restaurants. The lion rock is very close.

The noise, perhaps coming from below. Some reviews mentioned a musty smell, but I think it is due to the high humidity of the climate here. If it’s a sunny day you can air out, if it’s a cold rainy day, it’s damp naturally. The google map is not accurate if you punch in the address, put the name, happy inn, when you are navigating.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We had no hot water initially, but the staff responded to our request very promptly and fixed the problem. The room we had was just like a treehouse, on top of the main building (the inn is situated on the hillside) and away from other guests. The big windows at the entrance of our room gave us a nice view over the tea plantation and down to the lake. The breakfast buffet was a nice bonus, you can have rice and curry, Sri Lankan pancakes, buns, cookies, fruits, nice tea and the usual Nescafé.

there are mosquito set on the bed, but windows dont close well (so we had some mosquitos, ants and bugs in the room) The price is very cheap for accomodation but the host wanted to sell safari and other activities more expensive than their price even for turist. The wifi didnot work.

On our last night coming back to the room we went for a shower and noticed a massive ants nest behind the tiles which as soon water touched it loads of them came out but told the host. The fridge needs to be moved as it doesn’t fit into the wall.

Location was perfect, it’s near a small lake that is a good place for a photo of the lion rock! The hosts are really nice and welcoming and made us tea upon arrival, the room is really big. If anything went wrong the hosts would fix it immediately

Cozy, quiet place with sympathetic and kind hosts. There are tasty and hearty breakfasts. The room has a shower with hot water and a toilet. Lunch and dinner can be prepared for a fee. Clean beds and powerful fan.

Washroom lock was broken, hot water system didn't work and it was not equipped with proper toiletries.

Location was good. Breakfast was not good but the total environment was pretty enjoyable. I enjoyed seeing monkey (Long tail Monkey) on tree just after my room. it was 100% village vibe.
