We are in Sri Lanka for the first time. There were questions and difficulties, like everyone who is travelling to a previously unknown country. And a great sense of gratitude is caused by people who help you adapt quickly and feel that everything is fine. For us, the BK Beach Hotel Hikkaduwa became such a place. It's an amazing place with amazing people who made our first days unforgettable. The guys organised a great and comfortable transfer from the airport, answered all the questions that arose during their stay, always went to meet and helped us with advice. Separately, I would like to mention the assistant manager of Naveen, a real professional and a wonderful responsive person. And an employee of Nipun organised a wonderful greeting for my girlfriend on her birthday, which we celebrated at the hotel The hotel itself is beautiful in everything. The rooms and premises are clean, neat and very stylish. Stunning view of the ocean from the balcony, where it's so nice to sit in the evenings! The staff constantly cleaned our room and changed linen and towels. The air conditioner and fan work perfectly, the plumbing and furniture are new, the bed is soft, Wi-Fi is fast, the pool is clean and has a perfect temperature. And the breakfasts are delicious, on the beautiful sand terrace overlooking the sea. The hotel staff approach their work with love, they put their soul into the hotel and you can see it at first glance We will definitely come to this beautiful hotel when we return to Sri Lanka again, because the BK Beach Hotel Hikkaduwa is the benchmark of what the real quality of hotels should be. If I had the opportunity to give 20 points, I would have given it without hesitation Thank you guys, you are the best!!!!

The location is not the best, a little far from everything, hence the tuktuk rides, and the beach was not very swimmable at this location so we would go to other beach clubs to spend the day. Another thing that was massively disappointing is that they marketed that there will be a masseur available everyday and the massage prices were good so we were all very excited but he never came on the 5 days we stayed there so that was a huge disappointment on our end.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff who always want to help. The free tuktuk rides were very convenient and we loved lounging by the pool everyday. The breakfast and food in general was great too!

I had groundfloor room which is a bit noisy as all staff walks there and back to kitchen, talking, being on phone, also there are seats at pool right in front of the room door so you can hear everything. If that door is soundproof, would be much better. If I go next time, I would definitely take the room in an upper floor.

Very nice design hotel, nice rooms even not the biggest ones, everyday cleaning including exchange of towels and sheets. Beautiful garden, small but comfortable pool, nice restaurant, very good breakfast (possibility to order day before to have them available on time you wish). Amazing massage right onsite overseeing ocean and enjoying great masseur.

I love this hotel. It is right on Hikkadwa beach. They have beach beds but also beds at their pool. They also have a lap pool hidden away. The hotel is slightly off the main strip (which is what we wanted) but they provide a free tuk tuk service or you can walk the whole way down the beach. The decor of the hotel is boho chic and rooms are very nice. You can watch the sunset from your balcony. Staff were helpful. My only complaint is the bed is hard.

One small detail - the layout of our en-suite bathroom could have been designed better (toilet immediately behind the (part frosted) glass door.

It’s setting - directly on a beautiful beach - was perfect. Sitting on the bedroom balcony enjoying the cooling sea breeze and watching waves crashing on to shore was blissful. The hotel is situated a mile or so from the hectic Hikkaduwa beach and town, so it was very peaceful. The town beach is a wonderful 30-40 minute stroll away along the sea shore, or 5 minutes in the hotel complementary tuk tuk. The staff - every one of them - were really nice people, and very good at their jobs.

The staff organised taking us to a turtle hatchery and tsunami museum, then proceeded to take us to a spice garden to be sold and then tried to charge us 7000 rupees so just do it yourself

This accommodation was totaly perfect choise. Modern, clean hotel. Friendly and kind personal. Beautifull, long beach near restaurants and bars. Delicious breakfast and other meals from the menu. Tuktuk for free is super. They havent alcohol, only beer. And two friendly dogs - cudle them. :)

The bed is a bit narrow for two persons. No reef, so no snorkeling!

The location is just great! You can have breakfast with your feet in the sand! Very nice rooms and lovely staff! It’s just a few minutes by Tuk Tuk from Hikkaduwa city centre. This part of the beach is quite calm, which we enjoyed very much.

It’s a bit far from the main bar/restaurant area. Our room was on the ground floor and the door back door was facing the breakfast area, so no privacy. You also cannot sleep with windows open due to safety reasons if you are on ground floor. The room is rather small and if the weather is not good you’re going to be a little bored as there is nothing going on around the Hotel. I found it a bit pricey for Sri Lanka.

It’s beachfront, clean and stylish. The staff is super nice. They offer a free tuk tuk service up to 5km distance.

All the rooms have a view on the ocean, even these one on the ground floor but evrybody can see the inside room if you don't close the curtains

This hotel is located on a very quite beach far away the uggly big hotels full of Russian toursists. You can easily meet the afternoon fishermen and local people who still live on the beach and who have not yet been chased away by real estate developers. The staff is very kind and the quality of the service is optimum

For the price I would have expected better soundproofing in the rooms.

Lovely little place, delightfully decorated, right on the beach with well appointed, comfortable rooms and a balcony overlooking the glorious beach/sea. Enjoyed the short walk to the busier areas of Hikkaduwa either along the beach or main road, free tuktuk service if you prefer. You can take breakfast, lunch or dinner with the sand between your toes in the small hotel restaurant and cool off in the pool during the hottest part of the day. Helpful, friendly team on hand to answer any questions.

Nice and cosy hotel with beach access, exclusivity due to a total room number of 9 rooms, modern look and feel (hotel itself as well as the rooms), extraordinary team (very friendly), good food service (order via QR code), great beach & pool, payment on site (cash or card), easy check-in & check-out, would definitely recommend
