Quite street and close to main road , family friendly and welcoming, room was ready for check in , very clean room , spacious,comfortable and clean bathroom with hot water , they gave us recommendation for places to go and advices when driving the tuk tuk , good laundry service and overall it was a great place to stay , we had to stay one more night 🙂.

Lovely stay at the Blossom Inn, just off the main strip and nearby Nine Arch and Little Adam’s Peak - the family are lovely and helpful, and can help you plan your days whilst staying in Ella. I stayed an extra night last minute and they sorted it for me with about 5 minutes notice, very grateful. I would book to stay here again.

Quiet place, just behind the main street. Very nice helpful family. Clean family room. Restaurants around the corner.

The host and her family were really lovely.

The room was stuffy, floor was dirty, full of mosquitos and we got bitten in the night when the power went out because we couldn't use the fan. They were also a bit difficult about payment, saying it was one price and then changing at the end of the stay, we paid a bit extra in the end and then when they didnt have change for my tuk tuk to the train they told my friend I didn't want to pay, but the issue was they didnt have change. So that was upsetting. It was a lot for what we paid overall. The pineapple juice we ordered was extremely watered down. They didnt offer extra toilet paper we had to ask each time, the toilet bin wasn't emptied daily so the bathroom smelt bad. I have stayed in much nicer places for less money in Sri Lanka. I didnt sleep well for 4 nights. It was disappointing because all the reviews say how comfortable the beds are.

Incredibly kind host, just a short walk from the town centre but far enough away from the main road to be peaceful. Hot showers and decent bedside fan to keep you cool.

The location was the best! Just a short walk of the busy street in Ella but in a nice and quiet street. The room was nice and spacious for the three of us but more can fit easily. Also the communal area is very nice to relax. The family that runs the hotel is so sweet. They gave us tips to do in the heat to cool down. My son loved playing with the cats 😻

Beautiful, clean room in a perfect location. On top of that, excellent communication and support from Dinithri.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable great shower and a spacious balcony ,and very close to the center of town, But the best part was the lovely owners, they gave us a very warm .welcome and helped us a lot . I lost my phone an hour away from the hotel and the father and daughter drove us there and worried more than we did Thank you very much for a great stay

We stayed at Blossom Inn during our time in Ella and overall had a good experience. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom, and we appreciated the mosquito net over the bed and the fan — which was more than enough for Ella’s mild temperatures in May, sometimes even too much! The location is quite central, making it easy to walk to the Nine Arch Bridge, Little Adam’s Peak, and the town center. It’s also close to several restaurants, which was very convenient.

We chose this guesthouse because we had heard that the family running it was very helpful and available to organize trips and transport. Unfortunately, we believe we arrived at the wrong time, as it was during the Vesak holidays, and Dimitri (the woman managing the place) was quite busy with the celebrations. For example, we had asked in the morning for help getting to some waterfalls, and she only responded at 10 PM — by then, the information was no longer useful. They did give us a tuk-tuk ride once, but at a relatively high price compared to local standards, which was a bit disappointing given the expectations. Another downside was the checkout policy: although the room was free and not rebooked, we were asked to vacate it by 11 AM, even though our airport taxi wasn’t scheduled until 7:30 PM. We could leave our backpacks there, but had no access to a bathroom or a place to rest during the whole day. This felt a bit inconsiderate — something that would likely be handled differently in Europe. That said, the place is quiet, clean, and well-located, and it has potential for a great stay if visited at a less busy time.

A very warm welcome and a helpful and kind host who is always ready to help with any questions. The room looks as it does online and is clean and comfortable.

The host was super nice and helpful, great welcoming, kind people, gave a lot of details and tips. The location is close to center, points of interest.

The room is a bit small, especially if you have luggage, there was a start of mold, humidity is high, the house has some construction going on and it was right under the window, the towels were pretty old and had a weird smell.

Staff were so lovely, friendly & helpful. Even text me as I was on the way in a taxi to let me know to stop off at the waterfall which was really kind.

In a great location

- The homestay is in a quiet & peaceful location within walking distance to the noisy main road. We walked everywhere, including to Ella Rock trailhead, Little Adam’s Peak trailhead, and Nine Arch Bridge - Our room was spacious - we got the family room for the AC and it can fit 5 people but we were only 2 - The beds and pillows were comfortable - AC worked well - Shower pressure and hot water were good - Clothes rack in the room - The host was rather helpful whenever we had queries - There was a power cut during our stay (this is common in Sri Lanka) and we appreciate that she informed us in advance so we could charge our devices etc first.

- I think the biggest thing was the taxes being charged when this was not stated in the booking, and we were not told of this in advance. The host said she was discussing with booking.com to include this information but it should not have been arbitrarily added on before it’s properly included in the booking, or at the very least, the host should inform guests about it in advance when we book. - No hairdryer in the room. We borrowed one from the host and it spoilt during our first use with a burning smell and there was no other hairdryer available.

Excellent location but the hospitality is really what stands out. Dinithri and her family are lovely and made my stay the best! I extended my stay because I felt so comfortable here. It’s very clean, great common area to meet other travelers too.

The family were very kind and genuine people who really wanted to ensure that their guests were happy and taken care of.. it's in close walking distance to shops and restaurants. Just a tip, because it's in town you will hear music and celebrating on the weekends. If you want complete quiet nights go to a place where you have to walk to town. I liked being close to everything I need after hiking and I travel with earplugs. 😁

The stay at the Blossom Inn was great. The rooms were clean and the host family super friendly. I would particularly like to mention Dinithri's friendliness and helpfulness. She helped us a lot and was always available. She also helped us to organize the rest of our trip. Many thanks again for that. We would love to come back.

Stayed for one night. Staff was welcoming. Has parking place for motorbikes inside of a fence. Located in quiet area. Beds were comfy.

There was problem with hot water on shower. Didnt have rubbish bin in the room.

The best stay for your trip to Ella! The family that run Blossom Inn are the best, their kindness, hospitality and commitment to ensuring you have an amazing time in Ella is touching. The rooms are well kept and the location is perfect (just as short walk into Ella Town). Whenever I needed something sorted, whether that be recommendations, a scooter, a tour guide for my Ella Rock hike, a driver, laundry, the hosts were immediately responsive and happy to help. I cannot recommend Blossom Inn enough!

A wonderful place to stay! The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The hosts are genuinely warm, welcoming, and go out of their way to assist with anything you need. It’s in a great location, close to everything, but still quiet and peaceful. We’ll definitely stay here again when we visit Ella!.

The hosts were do super friendly. They went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic. Arranged a day tuktuk your for us, got all of our laundry done, dropped us off at the train station and even gave my children little presents. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

The family was lovely, very helpful and accomodating. Dimithri is a gem. The laundry service was very good. We had a good sleep. The family room is lovely and spacious, including the bathroom.
