We had a wonderful stay at this villa! It’s an incredibly well-maintained place, and the location is perfect—just a short walk to the sea. The room we stayed in was not only very comfortable but also spotless, which made my stay even more pleasant. All the staff is so kind and friendly. A big thank you to Emanuela and Tharin, who welcomed us with warm smiles and made sure we felt right at home throughout our stay. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable retreat by the sea!

We loved everything.

Casa Tharin is a lovely place, the bed we slept in was giant and the room so peaceful. Breakfast was delicious. Beautiful view from the terrace where you can do yoga, chilloout or meditation in the morning with Emanuela Who is an amazing host. Super rare to find this vibes in a place. Super super recommended.

The staff and owners were really friendly and helpful. The cleanliness and love to details was amazing. Also the breakfast and mediation (both not included in the price) was a great experience. Proper (Italian) Coffee made with a good machine :)

What a great surprise. Rooms bigger than expected. the guesthouse is build such a way that the rooms are cool and you don’t need AC. You could eat until 1pm. Food delicious. Staff kind. Cleanings everyday of the room. Definitely recommend

Sometimes at night the dogs in the neighbourhood were barking. No big deal to us, it didn’t really bother us much.

The two owners are lovely and know exactly how to make you feel at home. The place is very clean, well maintained and looks brand new. The beds are super comfortable and all in all it feels like a luxurious small hotel at a nice and quiet place :)

Emanuela and Tharin is just amazing hosts that really make you feel like home in their beautiful accommodation. We stayed for 4 nights and this was one of our favorite spots during our Sri Lanka journey, a lot thanks to our stay at Casa Tharin. Besides from their hospitality they offer a fantastic breakfast (and coffee!!), a lovely terrace and comfortable rooms. We would definitely come back here and recommend everyone to stay here.

The mosquito nets weren't particularly effective when the fan was on, as they float up at the sides (minor point).

We had a wonderful stay. Emanuel, Tharin and all of their staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and airy, with a great breeze from the beach, and comfy bed. The view from the rooftop is nice, and there's cover from the rain even when it rains sideways - it keeps nice and cool throughout the day. The food was delicious and well priced - vegan options were available. There are yoga and meditation sessions a few times a week, and plenty of space to practice yourself on the roof. Very close to the beach and a few surf spots.

It was the best choice. Clean, big room, big bed. A wonderful terrace with ocean view. And the Cafe offers until late brunch with the best srilanka coffee. We will come back

I like everything. The room, the terrace, the cafe with the best cappuccino. Peanut butter smoothie bowl. Staff so welcoming . We really love our stay. WiFi super fast and I could make a job call very easily.

Everything is nice. The place is cozy, clean. The terrace is beautiful and the king bed is so comfortable. I had an area in front of my room where to sit and read. Very good.

It was an amazing choice. I really enjoyed the terrace where the view is incredible. Room on the first floor is big. No need for A/C. Everything is super clean. Breakfast abundant. Hosts are kind and full of suggestions. I will come back soon with my boyfriend. I meditate with Manu on the terrace, a deep experience of my inner world.

It felt like a home away from home! With an amazing breakfast every morning and only a short walk to the beach for the best surfspot (for intermediates) of all Marissa/madiha.

The downstairs cafe area was nicer than the bedroom itself - which was totally fine but could be even better if it matched up to the very high standard of the cafe.

Emanuel a was really welcoming and friendly. The cafe is a lovely open room and the food was delicious and all cooked freshly to order. I had a delicious lunch on arrival and a lovely breakfast too.
