It's not quite Kandy and a rather long uphill drive with hairpin bends. But a scenic drive and worth the extra time in a vehicle.

Beautiful hotel. Definitely lux. The staff from arrival to departure were amazing. The food at the restaurant is delicious. The rooms are a good size and gorgeous. The outdoor shower...inspired for the climate. Wish we had booked to stay longer. Very welcoming and accommodating hotel especially if travelling with kids.

Minor issues. Like the road to the hotel. Location is a bit far from city. Few things in the room that i am sure if i contacted front desk would be fixed but we did not bother.

I loved the view. Room had private pool overlooking mountains with a breath taking view. Food was delicious. We ordered from hotel restaurant and prices were good. The place is quiet. Staff are very nice and helpful. I loved the outdoor shower with indoor bathroom. Room had ac. Bathroom had hot water. Towels were supplied and clean. Sheets smelled nice and fresh. It was my sister birthday and they prepared a complimentary small cute cake with few balloons. It was nice. They offered inroom breakfast but we had it in restaurant to avoid bugs and ants.

Quite a few insects in the room... It's understandable you're in the middle of the jungle but probably some more deep cleaning and insects deterrents will help.

I strongly like the location and villa design. The view is incredible too. The food was very good especially the pizza. I will never forget this vacation. The Only down side, cleaning needs to be more detailed and they should install heater for the pool.

My only complaint was that it was a long way from Kandy, a lot longer than we realised. This made it difficult to get to Kandy for the day and back. But being far away from Kandy was a blessing in disguise as it meant that we enjoyed the remote and peaceful location - my advice is to visit Kandy before you head up the mountain to the resort - then just stay and enjoy the view and resort amenities.

Everything was beautiful. The room, the view, the pool, the food, the staff. We enjoyed our time there and found it peaceful and relaxing. You could sit out and look at the view for hours - with the changing light of the day. The stars were pretty incredible too, after the sun went down. The Sri Lankan food was delicious; their chef did a wonderful job, and all the staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble.

A bit far out of Kandy (18km and not 10km on Booking.com), some minor workmanship issues but…. any quibbles vanished with the wonderful treatment we had from the staff.
