Exceptionally clean and tidy, lovely hotel with nice pool - although I sadly didn’t get a chance to use it. Lovely Keshan greeted me and made the check in a breeze when I was really tired after a long flight.

The only small downside was that the menu card for the food wasn’t fully up to date, which made choosing dishes a bit tricky at times. Also, the price is still on the higher side, but the overall quality of the stay almost makes up for it.

Our entire stay was absolutely wonderful! The pool, the room, and every part of the property were spotless and beautifully maintained. The staff clearly takes great pride in their work, and it made our experience relaxing and enjoyable from start to finish. The close proximity to the airport, along with the convenient drop-off arrangements, is a major plus.

The best budget hotel near Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport for transit people. It's a new, clean and easy accessible property compare to other hotels near airport. The owner and crew has good ownership and caring to the guest. They arranged free airport pick up within 15min after I booked the hotel through booking.com. Providing homely and green environment along with clean pool and closed walls. The room is very clean and available all necessary items including clean towels, bath liquids, hair dryer, mini fridge, mosquito repellent, ear plugs, mats etc. First aid-box, wifi, urgent contact numbers, emergency evacuation and floor details are posted in the visible walls and each floor. A roof top food garden and resturant are available for dinner and breakfast. The hotel coordinator Mr. Kishan is available for any assistance and arrangements. Very helpful and supportive person. Thanks for giving a pleasant layover time with affordable price during our transit visit. See you again !

Keshan was extremely attentive. He picked me up from the airport and was quick to respond to any questions that I had before I arrived. As a solo female traveller, this was very appreciated. The room and pool area were extremely clean and the hotel had a very relaxing atmosphere. I had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and they were both delicious!

We had a warm welcome from Kishan, who greeted us with cold towels and a refreshing homemade juice. Our spacious room had everything required for a transfer hotel. The free airport transfer and close proximity to the airport were very convenient. A special thanks to Neranjan for the delicious meal and his knowledge about the island. Highly recommended if you need a comfortable stay after a long flight or before your return!

Very clean, well facilitated bedroom. The air con was efficient and quiet. Lovely refreshing pool for a dip. Food and drink available in roof top restaurant. We were aware of the close proximity of the flight path to the property, but it did not affect our sleep. Both members of staff were very welcoming and obliging. Only a 5 minute tuk-tuk ride from the airport.

Our stay at Ceylanro was nothing short of wonderful! The hotel is just a quick trip from the airport, and the free transport made our arrival seamless. Upon check-in, we were greeted with warm smiles, refreshing cold towels, and a delicious homemade juice—such a lovely touch! The only minus is vicinitiy of the airport. The planes are landing and taking off right above your head, which can be very loud. However, it seems like the frequency of flights is decreased overnight. Since we were really tired, we were not awakened by the noise throughout the night.

The villa is located few minutes drive from the airport, which makes it convenient for staying overnight after long flight. The owner is nice and reliable, the pickup from airport to villa is arranged for free if needed.

The stay was wonderful. From pre-communication, welcoming, the staff (who where mega), explaining what was around the hotel, value for money and the facilities/room. I will definitely stay here again when I need a hotel in the area.

When we arrived at a bit after 3 pm, the front gate was closed. The neighborhood seemed a bit sketchy, as the hotel was the only business in an otherwise neglected residential area with stray dogs. We had to call to get the gate opened. The owner should consider installing a door bell or intercom system. The room was not ready, but the Manager quickly got it prepared. The room is missing a luggage rack and outlets near the desk to plug in electronics.

The manager, Kishan, was very responsive to all of our questions and needs. The hotel is new, about a year old, well appointed and surrounded by greenery. Once you are inside the gate, it is a very nice setting. The room was spacious, clean and well-decorated. The Manager took care of arranging a driver to take us to the airport at 3 am - included in the price of the room - and the cook prepared us breakfast to go which came in handy on the airplane. Kishan also printed two documents and remained courteous and professional throughout the afternoon, evening and even at 2 in the morning - not sure when he sleeps!

Loads of mosquitoes (no fault of hotel) but they came in the bathroom through the slats on the window-maybe a net over the window would alleviate this problem? Every time you opened the bathroom door they came into the bedroom 😩

Newish, modern property with a lovely small clean pool enough to cool you down! Very close to the airport but not too noisy. We didn’t really get too disturbed by aircraft noise and as others have said ear plugs are provided. Comfortable room with a comfortable bed and pillows, good shower with hot water. Nice staff, good dinner and breakfast and lift to the airport so all good 😊 Ideal for one night.

We stayed one night to catch an early morning flight. The staff was extremely kind, we got into the room earlier. The dinner was very tasty and the warm breakfast packs were put on the flight. In addition, free transportation was organized for us by the airport hotel. Only good suggestions.

If you need a place to crash the night before your flight out of Colombo, there’s no better place to do it! It’s a beautiful hotel with a pool. They include a ride to the airport. And if you have to leave before breakfast, they will pack it up to go! They really helped make my travel smoother!

Nothing really, it was exactly what we expected!

Very handy location for the airport. Staff were all lovely and very helpful, especially Krishan. Nice big, clean room, we weren't there long enough to use the pool but it would have been great if we were staying longer. Tasty omelette for breakfast. The free transfer from the airport was a huge bonus even though we were arriving at 2am.

Noise from planes flying over till curfew however ear plugs were given which solved the problem.
