We knew the rooms were outdated, but honestly did not expect them to be run down this much. Room was old, with a moldy smell. The closet was crumbling away, the safe had been switched off. Mold in bathroom, lukewarm water in place of hot water. A lot of condensation in the room, making the floors kind of wet and slippery.

Excellent service from the friendly staff, always a smile and a greeting from everyone from front desk to pool side. Buffet is a bit repetitive, but always a great selection and honestly won’t matter if you’re staying just a few days. Food is tasty. The views, the sunset, the beach, unbeatable. Nothing better than grabbing a sunbed at the beach side and relaxing while the sun goes down.

Water overflowed from the shower to the sink and WC area due to not sealing properly.

Check-in was delayed, and rooms weren’t ready on arrival. Check-out also took longer than expected — faster service would make the experience perfect.

Rooms good if not excellent. Struggled for hot water. Enjoyed gym facility although slightly dated.

Buffet dinner varieties, not enough for a continental dinner, felt like little less compared to other high end hotels

Hotel promised to do better with the rubbish ok the beach and putting rubbish bins against to borders so the locals can help put trash away! Please follow up on the hotel if not done! The more voices the better. The beach is amazing the hotel is amazing. But because it’s turtle sanctuary they need to do better please check up for me 😊

The fridge was not cool enough and there was No way to adjust cooling Power. The dehumidifer was very loud and we Had to Turn it Off for the nights. Everything else was pretty much perfect.

Room is a bit outdated and aircon on low mode was extremely noisy. Bed mattresses not comfortable but any of that did not spoiled our stay. It was lovely

Location was excellent. Right at the beach where you could see the turtles coming and visit and all the baby shark reefs. Staff were really nice at the Italian restaurant ( unfortunately cannot remember the name of the person)

Bathroom fittings were old and the water pressure in the bathroom was less. The bathroom flush button was hard to press.

Food was amazing 👏. Rooms were comfortable. Kids enjoyed the pool.

The rooms were great, but the terrace door could be a bit more sound proof. the birds sang and that was noisy, and my downstairs neighbor decided to play loud music on our last day so if the terrace doors were well sound-proofed, this would be much better.

The staff was the highlight. Each morning we were greeted with a smiling face. walking out of the room, the room boys were kind and bubbly. special mentions go out to Manoj, who took extra care in arranging our room. The security staf were ever helpful and kind. the Restaurant was great, had indoor and outdoor seating and the staff were wonderful. special shoutouts to Renuka who was ever smiling, Sampath who knew my preference for the table and the king coconut glass i drank, and eepa who was always ready to help. Reception was no exception. Thiloochana who took amazing car and showed professionalism and Javisanka who assisted by going the extra step every time. The only downside was the noise outside the room. there were flocks of crows and "Maina birds" and parrots who sang their song from dawn to dusk. even with the terrace door closed, it was noisy enough. The room was large (we were three) and a lovely balcony added to the charm. we asked for a sea-view room and they delivered. At the end of our 10 day stay, they offered a free meal at the dinner buffet and made it special with a poolside table. All in all, we were extremely happy with my stay.

2025 was our 3rd time here after 2023. Facilities looks not maintained well but I think they are getting old now also with heavy use in such a hotel. AAC was not able to gi below 25 in One of the rooms. It was very hot. Even the crew was not able to fix after two calls.

Staff is really friendly as always. Good food large variety!

They had rates for the same dates and options that we selected which were usd $56 cheaper than when we booked months in advance. Neither the hotel or booking.com provided a price adjustment. Might as well book on the day of to save you the cost of food!

Madushanka was a great staff member, made our stay very special. The location was good, and pool as well.

Rooms and hotel outside urgently needs renovation as it is outdated. And a lot of humidity.

Food could have been more halal friendly. Getting a halal certification could help target a new segment of customers.

The buffet, options were limited as o can remember when I went there previously, they did live action seafood options for dinner. However I was surprised and bit disappointed how they are doing the dinner buffet now. Also there was no exhaust fans in bathroom.

Great location and comfortable room. Food was exceptional. Right by the beach. Witnessed a cultural show after dinner which was quite delightful and added a beautiful touch to the evening.
