Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

United KingdomFor me, everything was great. The room had everything I needed, and the stay was comfortable. Also, Sam is very open to suggestions - if you think something is missing or could be improved in the room, just let him know. He genuinely cares about making your stay better and is always happy to help.
Sam, the guest house owner, is a fantastic host who goes out of his way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location is peaceful and quiet - right on the beach, with a small lagoon that keeps the waves calm, making it perfect for swimming. A few local minimarts are just a 5-minute walk away - convenient for small purchases, though they accept cash only. The guest house has its own restaurant, and the food is always fresh and tasty. If you want something that's not on the menu (except beef), just ask Sam - he's happy to arrange it for you. The rooms are comfortable and thoughtfully equipped. A big plus is that they have both a ceiling fan and air conditioning - the fan is right over the bed, and the aircon is placed so it doesn’t blow directly on you, which is great if you want to stay cool without catching a cold. There's also hot water in the shower - something you definitely appreciate. The guest house is a bit far from the city, but Sam is always ready to drive you there, suggest things to see, and help you plan your activities. Overall, it’s a relaxing and well-cared-for place - highly recommended if you're looking for a quiet beach stay with a personal touch.

GermanyNothing to add, the 2 or 3 ideas we had for improvement were immediately implemented by Sam - therefore nothing left we can comment here.
The apartment is very spacious, with a simple furnishing. The beach offers a restaurant and 2 sun beds specifically for guests in the room, sunset here is truely magical and Sam is a great host who is very responsive and always available to support - plus he is very open to feedback and suggested improvements. Be it a recommendation for a spa / massage, a ride to the town or ATM or other suggestions or support - he also organized a scooter for us so that we could explore the area on our own. Dinner (espacially Fish) is also fantastic and bought directly from the fishermen a few minutes away.

SwedenThis is a absolutely great place to stay. Right at the beach and with the friendliest staff. Sam who is the owner is such a kind and caring person. He drive us in his own car and show us a beautiful tempel, looked up the train time for us and was all the time very caring about that we had a good stay. The room is big with good AC, wifi and a altan where you can see the sunset over the ocean. We would love to come back one day!

AustraliaThis is a fabulous apartment located in an elevated position right on the beach with stunning views…can’t get better than that! It was extremely spacious and beautifully decorated, with a very comfortable king bed, kitchen and bathroom and an outdoor deck to watch the sunset. Best of all though was the owner Sam, such a kind and generous man, he took me for a tour of the area to places I was interested in and gave me a very insightful background into Sri Lanka..wish I’d come here at the beginning rather than the end of my time in Sri Lanka…he was a wealth of knowledge and so generous in sharing it! Beneath the apartment is a fantastic seafood restaurant owned by Sam, with seafood bought straight from the boats and served daily. Sam and his wife are wonderfully kind people and I highly recommend this apartment, you’ll have an amazing experience.

South AfricaOverlooking a beautiful reef, this spacious air-conditioned unpretentious apartment with a stunning beach view is convenient to explore the area, enjoy a beach experience and activities on offer. But what makes it so special is the utter dedication of its owner to make sure his guests are comfortable, safe and he goes beyond anything we have ever experienced to provide exceptional service. This was the second time we have stayed here and would recommend it without hesitation.

The owner, Sam went out of his way to assist and guide us during our stay offering a free transport service to nearby activities. Convenient seafood beach restaurant under the apartment.
