when i booked the place, i was a bit spectical , just hoping it turns out as shown in the pict and reviews. when we reached the place and checked in, was amazed that the place is exceptional , just like stated. the host were very warm and welcoming. made us feel welcomed and safe. the rooms were clean, good quality linen and towels, all the stuff in the room looked so beautiful and well kept. they have really invested in the place with passion and care to ensure we feel comfortable. The breakfast provided as great, the host family made sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. its very close to the beach, about 10-15 mintes walking.. we overall enjoyed our stay.

The best stay I've had in Sri Lanka. Rooms are very clean, AC worked well and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The people were so friendly - I arrived early hoping to leave my bag and was given a fresh passion fruit juice and they prioritised getting my room ready. On leaving, I left my Kindle and they found it then rode out to find me and give it back.

Had to walk along a main and busy road to get to the road leading to the beach but it wasn’t a problem. Maybe at night it might be safe to have the torch on your phone on for oncoming traffic as there are no street lights.

Rooms were lovely, modern and clean. The host and family were so kind and friendly - they couldn’t do more for us. They allowed us to store some food in the fridge, do some of our own cooking, rent a moped and do some laundry. Good WiFi.

We stayed here for two nights. Devon is a very friendly guy, open to his guests and genuinely sincere. We didn't use the breakfast option as we had other plans in the area. The bedroom was clean and had recently been updated with new furnishings, so everything looked good. However, the (new) mattress was about 20 cm too short for me (I’m 1.85 m tall). Despite that, it was still comfortable to sleep on. The bathroom, on the other hand, was a bit outdated and could use some maintenance.

It was a bit noisy on the road side bedroom and it’s about a km to the main village centre.

The staff were really accommodating, I had to change the dates of my trip and they were excellent helping me. Also it was the only place I stayed that was so quiet! The room was peaceful and modern. It was great.

It was one of the cleaniest rooms I stayed in during my holiday in Sri Lanka. Very comfortable, well equiped room in well maintaned house. Warm water, toiletries, AC and a fan. Good lighting. Nothing that i could complain about. Good spot and friendly hosts.

The room mentioned it had a garden view but there wasn't a garden but more of just empty space and the exterior wall between the residence and the main road. Facing the street meant the traffic noise did creep through, but the doors and windows did offer better sound proofing than most places we've stayed. One personal preference that had a big impact was the pillows. They are so thick that it's impossible to feel like you're lying down, which for us was an issue for sleeping, but that's a matter of preference.

The room, the bathroom, and all the common areas were clean and well taken care of. They were nice facilities in the room with the AC working wonderfully and the shower in the bathroom is one of the best we've had in Sri Lanka. The host was wonderfully helpful and attentive to our needs. He was helpful when I became sick and needed to get a hospital he helped arrange transport and talk to the driver emergency services. The location is about a 10-15 minute walk to Hiriketiya beach or a 2 minute Tuk Tuk/scooter. It's off the main road so if walking you are next to that traffic for about 5 minutes. Scooter seems the best option, which they are happy to rent for you.

The accomodation and hospitality were absolutely brilliant - originally booked for 2 nights and extended for another. The room was very spacious, AC and a fan. The host invited me for breakfast the first morning and helped with anything I needed organising including washing and getting me a tuk tuk. The family is really so nice. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the lovely beach - surfed loads and was provided a beach towel when I asked!

It is a newly renovated room so the facilities are brand new and very clean. AC worked great and the wifi worked very well. Best in Sri Lanka so far. The family were very kind and made us delicious breakfast in the mornings. We also got our laundry done there. Its a 10 minute walk to the beach. All in all very good accomodation and very comfortable.
