This stay was a great experience! The accommodation was beautiful and peaceful, the rooms were very modern and clean. They also had free wifi. Online communication was good. Malinda advised us to go on a safari in the morning. We were glad we listened to him! We saw about 40 elephants, crocodiles, deer, birds and many other animals. The food prepared by Malinda's mother, both dinner and breakfast, was the best we had in Sri Lanka. What a lovely lady! Not only that, Malinda booked us a taxi to the ella at a very reasonable price, the driver was very nice. He picked us up from the ella and took us to Yala and then he took us to the next place. Incredibly kind.

Very clean place, even the bed was very comfortable. Beautiful location. We really enjoyed the beauty. The wifi was very fast. Our host Malinda gave us a great experience and safari. A real highlight of our trip. The house was bright, comfortable and cool in the humidity! I would also really recommend the dinner, it was delicious and really generous. The safari was great value for money and as others have said, away from the crowds. I will never forget seeing our first elephant without anyone else and being completely peaceful, listening to the sounds of the forest. The driver is very knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure we saw as many animals and birds as possible. Breakfast was delicious a few hours later. And Mowen's taxi service was also much more accommodating than other drivers. Highly recommended

Nothing at all

Our stay at Diamond Walawa Safari Resort was truly amazing, our favorite of our Sri Lanka trip. The room was bright, super comfortable bed, very clean and spacious. The bathroom was also very clean, it was a real luxury! , The restaurant on the third floor is a very quiet and relaxing place, we also played carom there, Malinda gave us top service and always helped us out thank you Malinda . From the moment we entered the property, we were welcomed by our lovely hosts, we had a delicious and great value meal and Malinda helped us book the safari, it was an incredibly memorable experience, we will cherish it for a long time. The safari guides were really knowledgeable, we were filled with a great breakfast at the hotel, and we were even offered a late check out as we were returning late from the safari. The safari was very close to the hotel. The highlight was that we were lucky enough to see leopards and we also saw a large number of elephants. The flowers gave us the best value for the money we paid. Thank you again for that. This is the best place in terms of service and facilities among the places we stayed in Sri Lanka. Another thing to appreciate is that the wifi is very fast. After that, they booked us a taxi to go to the Ella at a very reasonable price.

We stay one night here it was fantastic stay. Really nice staff. We get the dinner here super. We booked the grate safari tour from them .we saw leopard, Elephants and lot of animals. Driver was super he know the everywhere of the park. Very comfortable jeep. Next day we booked the taxi from them prices was cheapest.before booked the taxi we ask the town is was expensive.but here is reasonable prices. Thanks for all.

We spend one night at Diamond Walkway Safari and had a truly unforgettable time. The experience started with a delicious Sri Lankan lunch — full of authentic flavors and clearly prepared with care. We booked everything through the owner and it went smooth. Overall, both the hospitality and the safari exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

Wow! This place was incredible!! 100% recommend if you want to book a safari here for a good price I had the privilege of being the only guest here and got treated like part of the family. The room was big and clean and had a fantastic rooftop to have meals on. The owner gladly made meals for me and took great care of me whilst I was there and helped me book a safari with a great guide😃 As I was the only one staying here for 2 days, I managed to hang out with his friends and played games/had drinks on the rooftop. Thank you so much and I look forward to seeing you again😊

Very nice big room, very clean and very beautyfull Malinda was amazing, he was very helpful in booking our safari, we saw a lot of animals on the safari, among them there were many elephants, deer, etc. We were very happy and he was our guide. The food was delicious, the beds were very nice and comfortable - great value for money!!!❤️

Great stay with the friendly owner and his family! Everything was nice and clean and everyone was very kind. The owner helped us with arrival and departure and literally did everything for us. He arranged a day safari for us at a very good price. Saw about 25 to 30 elephants. Recommended places to go and eat. Breakfast is really good. Highly recommend this place for your accommodation safari 💙

Malinda brother place is very amazing, we received a lot of hospitality at that stop, if we talk about the safari service, if you want to visit Udawalawa park, you have to go with Malinda, it's so great, this place is very clean. , got all facilities. On the downside, we expected breakfast to be included, but the person there informed us it wasn’t actually part of the booking (even though the booking on the site said so). It was understandable for the price, but it meant I had to go into town, a few kilometers away, to get breakfast. He did offer tea, but since we already had tea-making facilities in the room, it didn’t add much.

We really liked the price for the room and the amenities. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable enough, and there was hot water along with tea-making facilities, which was convenient.

Only negative note: The prices of the food were not clear, we tried to ask beforehand to avoid problems but it the end we had a pretty high bill.

The staff was extremely helpful and nice. The food was really good and the room was clean and tidy. The area is quiet, and the resort is beautiful! They have a nice terrace where you eat dinner and lunch. Highly recommended.
