I had the most wonderful stay at Dreamy Hotel and I can honestly say it exceeded all my expectations. A very special mention goes to Wahid and Nifras, who were truly exceptional. They were always available whenever I needed help – whether it was extending my stay, finding a reliable taxi, or simply giving me the best local advice. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made my experience unforgettable. The cleanliness at Dreamy Hotel is also outstanding. Thanks to Nifras, everything was spotless every single day. He made sure the rooms and common areas were perfectly maintained, which added so much comfort and peace of mind to my stay. I also really appreciated how attentive and friendly the entire team was. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their warm attitude created such a positive atmosphere in the hotel. Dreamy Hotel truly lives up to its name – it’s the perfect place to relax, feel at home, and be looked after by people who genuinely care about their guests. I stayed at Dreamy Hostel in Arugam Bay for 7 days, and it was honestly one of the best hostel experiences I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is super relaxed and social you meet amazing people and it’s the perfect place to enjoy the surf vibe of Arugam Bay. What makes this place truly special is Nifras, the host. He takes care of everything always smiling, always making sure guests are happy, and constantly cleaning to keep the hostel spotless. He genuinely goes the extra mile and treats you like family. On top of that, the manager is super helpful as well and arranges all the transport, which made our stay completely stress-free. If you want a place that’s affordable, welcoming, and run with real care, Dreamy Hostel is the place to be. I couldn’t have asked for a better week and I’ll definitely be back!

I stayed over 16 days at Dreamy Hostel, and it was such a beautiful experience. The place itself is clean, cozy, and peaceful but what really made my stay was the team. They’re kind, caring, and genuinely go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and at home.

I want to share a summary of my stay at Dreamy Hostel. I spent three nights and four days there. The place is beautiful, clean, and the staff are always ready to help. It’s located in what feels like a tropical paradise. Unfortunately, I was very sick for two days during my stay — but I honestly felt like I was being cared for at home. They brought me food, water, and medicine right to my bed. One of the staff members, Nifras, truly stands out. He provides personal service with a smile, works incredibly hard to make sure you feel special, and genuinely cares about your comfort and wellbeing. Looking forward to coming back next year!

Clean and comfy dorm, large bathroom and AC in the room. Staff are friendly and helpful. They will organise anything you need for you, including surf lessons, transport, bikes, etc. Perfect location, just off the main strip, short walk to the shops, restaurants and beach.

Our room didn’t have aircon and sometimes it was really hot inside.

The staff was really friendly and help us a lot during our stay. They even helped us with the transport from one hostel to the other. The room was very big and everything was very clean.
