There wasn’t actually anything that I didn’t like but there were some points that should be mentioned like, on our room the tv didn’t work even though we didn’t actually needed it. ( it would be good if to check everything was working fine in the rooms before checkin). and, we had to wait a little bit of time for the staff to deliver our bags to our rooms. These are minor points that are near to negligible.. just some recommendations, apart from that everything was great.

Everything was exceptionally magnificent, and I wish we had planned for an extra night stay. We all enjoyed it very much—everything was perfect. The staff was great, and the food, pool, facilities, playgrounds, and cleanliness were top-notch. We even stayed after check-out since the pool was accessible. They also provided free room upgrade from superior to premium and everyone was surprisingly happy about it. I would recommend this place to anyone because it’s truly worth it.

I recently stayed at Occidental Eden Resort in Beruwala and had a truly memorable experience. The food was outstanding with plenty of delicious choices to suit every taste. The rooms were Clean, neat, and very comfortable, making the stay relaxing and enjoyable. The staff were always friendly, approachable, and willing to go the extra mile to support guests. Their warm service created a welcoming atmosphere throughout the resort. Overall, this is a fantastic place to unwind with excellent food, clean and cozy rooms, and exceptional service. Highly recommended!

Beach should be made clean and remove the beach boys which I know hotel has no right . These guys are bugging guests and keep manning the beach entrance . The try to sell boat rides , scloths and snake shows. I knopw the beach dos not belong to hotel but this facto is prevaling in most beach hotels . Toursit bod must sort this out of not we will lost the high spending tourists

Everything about our stay was simply perfect. The room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and all the facilities were excellent. The view from the property directly overlooking the beach was breathtaking and added a special touch to our trip. I would like to give a special thank you to Dinithi, who went above and beyond to help us when we had an issue with the Booking.com system. We were extremely tired after a long journey, and her immediate assistance made a big difference. Also, I had one of the best experiences ever with late checkout at this hotel — something I’ve never encountered in such a smooth and generous way before. Roshan was incredibly helpful and supportive, making sure all our requests were handled efficiently and kindly. A heartfelt thank you as well to Lasantha, who took excellent care of everything needed for my elderly parents and young children. His professionalism and warm approach truly stood out and made us feel very well looked after. Highly recommended for families and travelers looking for comfort, care, and beautiful views. I recently stayed at Occidental Eden and I must say it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in was smooth, and they even offered a welcome drink which was a nice touch. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, with all the necessary amenities. The bed was super comfortable, and the view from my window was stunning. Housekeeping was prompt and efficient every day. One of the highlights of my stay was the food – whether it was breakfast or dinner, everything was fresh, delicious, and well-presented. The hotel also had great facilities like a pool, spa, and fitness center that added to the experience. The location was perfect – close to local attractions yet peaceful enough for a relaxing stay. The hotel had a great atmosphere, the staff were very friendly and always helpful. Staff would approach you on various occasions to make sure you were enjoying your stay and that everything was OK with the facilities, etc. The pool was clean and well maintained. The food was delicious, with a good variety of dishes to suit all tastes, and the presentation was impressive. Our room was comfortable, spacious, and kept very clean throughout our stay. Housekeeping was consistent and attentive. The location of the hotel was also ideal—close enough to local attractions but still peaceful and relaxing. Thoughtful Hospitality and Perfectly Arranged Stay Our check-in experience was smooth and personalized. Yashodara from the hotel reached out to us via WhatsApp a day in advance to confirm our arrival time and any special requests. I had asked for a ground-floor room with views of both the pool and the sea, and to our delight, she had pre-arranged exactly the room we were hoping for. A special thank you to her for making that happen! Upon arrival, the management welcomed us with a traditional coconut lamp-lighting ceremony, which added a warm and memorable touch to our welcome. The room was spacious, with large glass windows and sliding doors that offered stunning, uninterrupted views and easy access to both the beach and the pool—truly a highlight of our stay. The pool itself was large, very clean, and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was enjoyable, offering a good variety and quality to start the day right.

Location, other than the beautiful property grounds, there wasn't much to see or do nearby the hotel. The information about the spa was not updated and their communication wasn't great, we didn't get to experience the spa due to lack of information sharing etc.

Staff were so warm and welcoming, ready to lend a hand and guide. We got upgraded to a ground floor room that opens up onto the garden and pool. Beautiful landscaped gardens and direct access to the beach. Swim up pool bar was great and restaurants fabulous. We had a really relaxing and romantic long weekend.

Your bartender, Sameer is very partial to white skin. Can be quite obnoxious to anyone who is not white.

The location is great. Proximity to various activities makes it a perfect place to be at. The staff are exceptional. Special mention to Chaminda (pool restaurant), Mina( Guest relations), Roshan ( housekeeping), Ruvin( pool ), Bashitha( intern) and Roshel (intern)
