The location was great...close to the centre but elevated for the breeze and far enough away so it wasn't too noisy. It's basic with everything you need and nothing you don't. Beds comfortable and rooms are clean.

Our room didn’t have a great view of Ella Rock due to a huge tree blocking our balcony view.

Lovely property in the centre of Ella. It’s a great location with a small hill to walk up to the property. The staff were so kind and friendly. The room was immaculate with what looked like a brand new bathroom. Very happy with our night stay here.

Our room and bathroom were exceptionally clean, which we greatly appreciated. We were also treated to an incredible view of Ella Rock right from our accommodation. The breakfasts were excellent, a perfect start to each day. Our host was incredibly helpful and hardworking. He is now focusing on building a new floors at the guesthouse. He also drive us to the train station when we were leaving. We also took advantage of the tea plantation tour and tea factory visit to Dambatenne, which was a fascinating experience and highly recommended.

The accommodation was very centrally located, very clean, comfortable, and we even had a free parking space for our tuk-tuk. The only downside was that the price was a bit high.

This was up there with one of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka. Located slightly up a hill in Ella you are close enough to easily walk into town (less than 5 mins) but still feel out the way of the hustle and bustle. It was a little oasis for us to return to in the evening. The family who run the guest house are charming, super attentive and friendly. We loved our breakfast on the balcony each morning watching birds and hearing the sounds of the surrounding jungle. The room was spacious and comfortable and I would definitely recommend this stay to others :)

I had a nice room, just enough space, the water was warm. It doesnt have AC, but i did not need it anyway. The owner is nice and the breakfast is good. The place is just a little up the hill, not much walking, and right in the center.

Quite a steep hill to walk up to accommodation if you have mobility problems.

The location was good near the centre and lots of bars and restaurants. Idea for stopover to get train to Kandy. Family very friendly and helpful. Lovely outdoor area with great sunset views.

Nothing except the very steep road to get there.

Very friendly family who run the place. They make you feel at home and help you when needed. Our tuktuk broke down and they helped us out.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was well kitted out, and the location of the guesthouse was ideal, far enough away from the noise of Ella but only 5 min walk into the centre. The breakfast was really tasty, with a lovely view of the mountains.

Ella fully takes care of the touristic needs of the people from Europe and the US, so it doesn't really feels like a real Sri Lankan town should feel and that's a pity

Ella is a nice city but much to touristic for my taste. The room and the host and his wife are great (very helpfull). It's more a homestay or a B&B then a hotel. It's just outside the city were it can be noisy (walking distance).

Close enough to walk to town but away from the traffic noise. Up a steep hill so good views and trees/garden. Gagit was very helpful discussing travel plans, Inoka made a good breakfast too.

we were absolutely happy! We felt comfortable in our room. Despite the heavy rain, we were able to feel good thanks to the accommodation. The family gave us a warm welcome when we checked in. Breakfast on your own balcony was the absolute highlight.
