The host was really nice. She cleaned the rooms at the last minute and accomodated us. The breakfast was also amazing. Highly recommend.

A lovely place. Spotlessly clean, good AC, comfy beds and good shower. You get your own sitting area and table outside the room surrounded by lovely gardens. The internet worked surprisingly well. The host is great and very responsive. SHe prepared us breakfast each morning and it was a different and delicious sri lankan dish along with a more traditional western option, plus fruit and freshly made juice. The place is at the end of a short laneway and fields are on the other side of the property. You can hear the peacocks and elephants even come nearby. You can easily walk to a few restaurants on the main road. It is quiet and peaceful. Exceeded my expectations and would highly recommend.

The only negative is that it is a shower in the open room, extremely common in Sri Lanka. However, there is a provided floor squeegee and the drainage is good, so the floor does not stay wet, which is typically my issue with this setup.

Everything about this place was amazing! The room was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The outdoor area was simply beautiful—quiet, serene, and surrounded by greenery. You’ll love the presence of colorful birds and playful squirrels, which make the experience even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the host’s incredible cooking! Make sure to order your meals in advance so they can prepare something delicious for you. Overall, this is a perfect spot for relaxation and reconnecting with nature. Highly recommended!

Dimuthu was an exceptional host who truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She made sure we had everything we needed, and the breakfast she prepared was absolutely delicious. To top it off, she even made us a packed breakfast to go at 6:30 AM for our 5-hour drive, which was incredibly thoughtful. I highly recommend staying at her place – the location is perfect!

Staying here for 1 night was the highlight of our trip. Close to sigiriya, it is a quiet beautiful house backing onto fields, with beautiful nature and a sense of peace. On an afternoon walk along the track at the back of the house we saw many peacocks, a wild tortoise and fresh elephant tracks. It was exciting. Dimuthu was the perfect host, and the breakfast was incredible. Thank you!!!!

Lack of Ac conditioning

Me and my girlfriend liked everything about the stay! Dimuthu made sure we had everything we wanted and the food was veeery delicious! We would definitely recommend this to everyone. Dimuthu is the kindest person we’ve ever met!

The wifi could be a bit better, other than that it was perfect.

The room and bathroom are modestly furnished. In our room, more hangers, a shelf, or furniture for a second suitcase would be useful.

Beautiful property in a quiet area. Such a lovely host who made the best breakfast we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Incredible value for money. I loved our stay here.

We had a great time at the accommodation and Dimuthu was a great hostess. The breakfast was really delicious and on request she also made us one of the best curries for dinner that we have had in Sri Lanka so far. When we wanted to rent a scooter, Dimuthu got one for us and less than 10 minutes later it was at our doorstep. I can only recommend this accommodation. Any time again, thank you Dimuthu :)

The location is a bit out of the way but was just right for us. You have peace and quiet and a great view of the huge garden

We booked a deluxe room and it was perfect💯 Super clean and modern! No need to go to safari - we saw a lot of birds and animals at the backyard, even an elephant (it was rare)!😀 We felt very welcomed, Dimuthu, the host made sure we felt safe and comfortable. Thanks once again, sending a lot of appreciation ✨

Absolutely perfect from start to finish. Room was spotless, bed was very comfortable, featured a mosquito net. Wild elephants roam nearby so an amazing experience to be able to see their footprints and the chance to see the elephants themselves at night. Monkeys and peacocks too. Bathroom was modern and spotless also, shower was nice and hot. Breakfast was gorgeous, Dimuthu made homemade delicacies each morning (things like roti, pancakes, muffins, eggs) and it was like our own mini buffet! Dimuthu is one of the most hospitable hosts in our whole 9 months of travelling. A truly lovely lady who was so kind in showing us around the area.

We loved our stay! Dimuthu was so kind and organised us any activity and tuktuk driver to destinations. We ate amazing breakfast & dinner there, prepared vegan for our request - so tasty and colorful! Her garden is also very beautiful and calming. We recommend this stay from the bottom of our hearts!

We loved everything! But good to notice that this is not a central location, and main attractions need to be reached with a tuktuk.

Our experience could not have been more amazing! She helped us organise the elephant safari and without doubt we had the best guides. Also with the tuktuk and places to eat. She was always super friendly and sweet.

This has been our favorite homestay in sri lanka and we have been travelling around 3 weeks! It is super clean and comfortable. Our highlights were our cooking class and another night where she cooked us dinner. She even accomodated my partners coconut allergy which was amazing . Breakfast was also delicious :)
