The room was spacious and cool. It had a lovely balcony with views of Ella. There was so much food for breakfast which we loved! The staff were super helpful and went the extra mile to make sure we had a great stay. They organised a moped for us as well as a trip to the National Park along with a packed lunch. This was our favourite place we stayed in Sri Lanka!

The bathroom is a little basic, but perfectly fine.

The family were so friendly and helpful. The property is in a nice location, surrounded by trees, on the edge of town. We left early in the morning for the train and Saman drove us to the station and packed us a takeaway breakfast. Thank you!

Location is very ideal! Its walking distance to the 9 arch, Adam’s peak, zipline flying ravana and the city center. The owner is very accommodating and helpful.

It is an amazing place with even more amazing views over Ella Rock. Just a 10-minute walk from the town, this is the perfect getaway to relax and explore the region. 👀 The bed was super comfy and the breakfast was delicious! Saman and his family were so welcoming and helpful ... an amazing spot with views straight on to Ella Rock and Little Adam's Peak. Monkeys performed acrobatics in the trees in front of our balcony ...even stole our peanuts and eat them in front of us... such a great spot. Easy to walk to 9 Arches and Adam's Peak and in to town. Very quiet as up a back lane and the breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka... a great find!

There was nothing not to like - just need to be aware the property is not suitable for a car to drive right up to the property.

So peaceful and quiet at the Felicity Inn surroundings made you feel like you were in the jungle even though you were a very short walk to the centre of Ella. Room was very spacious and clean, tea and coffee facilities in your room as well as bottled water. Breakfast was absolutely amazing and the hosts were brilliant couldn't do enough for you. Would have stayed longer if had the time.

In one of the rooms the shower was a bit too old and difficult to use.

Great location in a quite, green area, but still close to the city. The hosts were very nice and helpful and did everything they could to make our stay perfect.

Tricky location, especially at night if alone, but owner on hand with tuk tuk so wasn't an issue.

Owners have made a real effort with the property to make it really nice; lightning, wood paneling, lovely balcony etc. Was sorry to only spend a short time there. Family really lovely.

Using the shower soaked the entire bathroom floor and no bath mat to dry feet. There seemed to be some mould.

The wifi was quite unreliable. Sound insulation is a bit poor, but it didn’t matter much because it’s quiet around the area anyway.

Our room had a cute cottage vibe and shaded terrace facing the valley away from the town center. The breakfast was delicious and very generous. The host gave us some good recommendations and offered to take us to the train station for free.

This place is a hidden gem. My father and me booked 2 rooms and were so happy with our stay. The breakfast is amazing, the owner will make sure you are comfortable. He helped us to book a drive from Ella to Yala.

I love this place! Beautiful view on Ella Rock and little Adams Peak. You can enjoy it from your balcony. Very nice and clean rooms. The host and his family were great! The host even picked me up from the train station, really nice.

Have a torch when walking back to cabin was alittle adventure with the kids watched the stars on our walk,

Location was great, cabin feel in the trees but close to walk to main road. Great views, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Waking distance to little Adam’s peak and nine bridges.

Amazing location close to the town and yet still with a good view. We stayed with three kids so lots of space and safe. Hosts were excellent and very helpful. Food was wonderful too.

We were a little surprised how far from the centre of town Felicity Inn is located. However this was never any problem as Saman was always able to get us to our desired destinations.

Fabulous view, delicious and generous breakfast (enough to take away for a snack later) and friendly helpful hosts. Saman organized our train seat bookings and Tuktukked us wherever we wanted to go.

Saman & his family were amazing during our stay! The location was perfect & the view you get from the villa was stunning. This was by far our best stay during our trip to Sri Lanka. The breakfast was 10 out of 10, and we had something different every day which allowed us to try different Sri Lankan dishes; make sure you ask for the pancakes too! They also helped us with a transfer & generally were just really helpful. Thanks Saman!
