The room (king) was very spacious and comfortable with a verandah and sofa outside. The location was very close to the main beach (2 min walk) but also secluded enough that it was not noisy plus the small number of rooms (4) made it even more serene. The staff were excellent. Even though the breakfasts offered were western (the muesli/fruit and yoghurt was delicious), when we requested a Sri Lankan Breakfast for one morning, Gamini (staff) obliged by catering some home cooked breakfast.

It can be a bit noisy because the hotel is centrally located, but also because the rooms are not well isolated. The breakfast was ok but not great.

We really enjoyed our stay, the rooms are nice and the beds very comfortable. The hotel is surrounded by a nice garden and located close to the beach and restaurants, so very convenient. The staff is friendly. Overall a good place to stay in Arugam Bay.

Owner of property completely disinterested in his guests, was there every day and didn’t say anything over the duration. Not at all welcoming. Accomodation over priced for the service, the location is the saving grace.

The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy. The host was friendly and helpful. The place is near the beach and restaurants. The room looked nice and was equipped with a mini bar and A/C. Nice place to relax. I recommend this place to anyone.

Very nice property… lots of greenery. The room was big and spacious with a huge king size bed extremely comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was big and nice. Very clean place well maintained.

The rooms are comfortable and there are seating areas outside of each caban so you can enjoy the garden area which is gorgeous! Peace and quiet and luscious surroundings, who could ask for more? Kevin and his wife are excellent hosts, offering suggestions and full of good advice. He even arranged a cooking class for us. So kind!

Beautiful private villa’s. Amazing garden setting and close to the beach and also the main road for restaurants and bars. The staff were great and went out of their way to help with anything. Also the breakfast was lovely and made fresh each morning.

Simply a 10. Super location, 5 mins walk from the beach and also very nearby all restaurants. The cabanas are very clean and there is plenty of room. Last but not least, the owners are really really nice!

The should consider to put a shower door which, instead, is open and the bathroom get wet everytime.

The hotel is very small, few rooms, in the center of the village. Very clean and the staff is the best staff we met in our tour!

The cabanas are located in the very center of Arugam Bay, making everything accessible by foot. At the same time the place is quite and private, allowing you to quit the beach in the hot hours to chill on the sofa just outside your room. Breakfast is wonderful and flexible in terms of timing, so that you can surf or yoga and then come back.

We had a lovely 3 week stay at Forcus. The facilities are modern and well maintained, with a comfortable bed, nice bathroom with open shower, and a beautiful outdoor area with the garden to enjoy. The staff is amazing! Kevin and the rest of the crew work tireless to make sure we have everything we need. They do roomcleaning whenever we want, and help us with several services like laundry, bike rental, tuktuk, and taxi transport. When theyre not helping us, they attend to the garden to keep it beautiful. We loved the breakfast! They offer a variation of different food. Banana pancakes was our favourite. Locations is great, if you want to be close to everything. Some noise from close bars is expected, but it didnt bother us.
