I had an exceptional stay at Gisban Wood Cabana in Habarana! From the moment I arrived, the warm hospitality of the hosts made me feel right at home. The Cabana is nestled in a tranquil garden setting, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after exploring the nearby attractions. The room was impeccably clean, and had a comfortable bed that guaranteed a great night’s sleep. The attention to detail in the décor added a unique charm to the space. Breakfast was a delightful experience, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. It was evident that the hosts take pride in providing a top-notch experience for their guests. They were always available to assist with anything and even helped us arrange tours to local highlights like Sigiriya Rock, Minneriya National Park and Habarana Lake. The Cabana's location is ideal for exploring the cultural and natural wonders of the area while still being a serene retreat to return to at the end of the day. I highly recommend Gisban Wood Cabana for anyone visiting Habarana. It offers incredible value for money, a welcoming environment, and an experience that is truly unforgettable

The warm welcome of the hosts and their availability-the activities offered and organized (safari, massage, Pidurangala rock) -their location 2 steps from the bus station -the home-cooked meals they offer -the cleanliness, comfort and design of their rooms -unbeatable quality/price ratio!  It's a 10/10, go for it with your eyes closed

This Cabana is the best place to stay in Habarana. The garden of this hotel is amazing. The hotel is well-located, close to shopping, transportation, and tourist attractions. The hotel's staff has always been kindly, friendly, patient, and helpful. You could address all of your problems with them at any time. They help to plan all of our tours at a lower price than elsewhere (including Sigiriya, Pidurangala, Ritigala, Dambulla, Village Tour, Dancing program,and Elephant Safari).  The room and wash room was really lovely, clean and good smell . Breakfast was delicious and really varied. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner may all be obtained here for a comfortable price.  I would strongly suggest this resort to everyone. I will surely return to Gisban Wood Cabana for future stays

Incredibly friendly hosts who helped us with any questions and organization. Very central, everything within walking distance. Just a few minutes by tuk-tuk from the railway station. The room was large enough for two people, large bathroom, fan above the bed, air conditioning for an additional charge since we did not book it. Fresh towels always on request. We also booked the Minneriya National Park tour through our accommodation, which also worked flawlessly - private guide and just the two of us, simply brilliant! We really enjoyed our stay in this little green paradise and would book here again. - Unfortunately, the room was a bit damp and smelled a lot.

The place was extremely beautiful, being in the middle of the jungle but with all the comforts we needed. The room was really clean and with a good scent. The hosts are the most kind you could find. They are interesting, available and beautiful people. The host also offered to drive us to the most beautiful attractions of the region with a very cheap prize. If you go I would recommend to eat there since the meals they prepare are special. The quality of everything we experienced was way beyond our expectations.

Beautiful Tree Houses, hand built with rustic look, plants climbing, sun flooding in, the owners are a lovely family who answer any questions and will give a tour around. A few mins walk to town, ATM, bus stop. Breakfast tea, coffee, juice, and variety of local and western food . Quiet street near Lovely Spice garden with fabulous knowledgeable owner too.  Lake not far, batik shops, central to Safari, Anuradhapura, Dambulla, Sigiriya. Will send friends here . Thank you!
