Sometimes water stops in the bathroom. I think it is when the water tank is empty. Each time I had to call the owner and got water back within abt 5mins. That was the only problem I’ve faced. And there are steep stairs to reach each floor. So you need to be bit active. 😅

The best place in Peradeniya. I’ve stayed for 11 nights. 5mins to the town. From main road to the hotel you have to travel bit uphill for about 500m. But the road is concreted and even three-wheelers reach the place. The scenery is breathtaking. You can see the whole Hanthana mountain from there. In the early morning and late evening the view from glass window is fabulous. ❤️ Rooms and bathrooms are very clean and newly renovated. There are total of 5 rooms available. All are air conditioned + attached bathrooms with hot-water + Television + Cloth rack + King size bed + Balcony with stool and chairs. Very clean new bed linen were available. But there were NO any complimentary items available inside bathroom (Soap or shampoo) There are 2 well equipped kitchens for separate 2 floors. Each kitchen equipped with a large table + Gas stove + Large refrigerator + Sink + Enough utensils + Spoons and forks. Filtered drinking water available just outside the 1st floor kitchen. Breakfast is served. You can decide the time to serve and choose what you want. Owner and his wife are very friendly and helpful. They even helped us with carrying baggage to our room and loading baggage to our car when we checkout. You can ask almost anything from the owner. He is a very good person. Parking is available inside the garage only for one car. Which the owner helps you each time to open and close the garage door. I’m very grateful abt that. And there are parking spaces available beside the road for about 3 - 4 vehicles. Some reviews mention abt dogs. But now there are NO dogs or pets inside hotel.

Amazing view, amazing staff, amazing breakfast, perfect location. Staff very helpful, there is a garage to leave your tuktuk or moto. We really enjoyed our 3 nights here

I had a fantastic experience staying. the staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. my room was clean and equipped with amenities I needed. The location was beautiful calm and quiet place. . every room has big balcony and amazing view of mountains . the dinner was serve to the balcony and it was wonderfull. I orderd traditional sri lankan dinner and breakfast. which was wonderful tasty. My stay was comfortable. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay. I will definitely be booking again!

Only thing is you've to climb a hill, the path to enter that hill start with a broken drainage iron cover ,you've to be careful with that, the roads are truly adventuors its not the Glen view hotels fault completely, but yet you've to be careful with it, my wife's leg got injured.

There was no independent access (had to call the family to be let in), not a huge deal.

The host family were extremely nice. The view from the balcony was amazing. A bit far from Kandy centre, but they offer all means (delicious) for an excellent price.

Beautiful views and very nice family! The owner is so sweet and made sure we were happy. He dropped us to a restaurant and also dropped us at the bus station the next day. They cook breakfast and dinner and it was our favourite breakfast in Sri Lanka! They have a lovely rustic kitchen for your use if you wish, we loved it. Wifi is a bit iffy but that’s okay. We loved our stay!

Unfortunately, it was not as clean as we expected.

The owner was very caring and friendly. We got a free breakfast and laundry service. We also loved the kitchen where you can prepare your own meal. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. There are stairs to quickly get to the main street where you can order a tuktuk.

We are so thankful for our stay at your hotel! The service was amazing with the sweetest woman and daughter who help us with transport and needs. The kitchen had everything you need and a beautiful terrace to eat with a view. This place had a perfect location and perfect view, we are amazed and recommend this to everyone. Wow!

Sadly rooms are very dirty (and smelly) for Westerners - might be ok for Sri Lanka people. No hot water and the water pressure was so little that I didn't even have a shower during my stay. No internet either, although the owner offered his hotspot. The owner said he will fix these things, if so..the rooms are promising! :-)

The owner and his kids are truly nice people (loved their super sweet daughter), and the location is very beautiful, far from the busy life in Kandy. The view from the balcony is super beautiful and you are surrounded by green trees and nature. Peaceful vibes.
