Owner was very accommodating and welcoming, always wanted to help . Prepared a lovely Sri Lankan breakfast , beautiful setting with lovely views from balcony and roof top.

Just some small possible improvements I could think of. II would have appreciated an extra bin in the bathroom. Also the whole bathroom gets wet when taking a shower. This is often the case in Sri Lanka but to me it helps a lot if a squeegee is provided to get the thing dry again.

Beautiful place, only 8 months old, run by a friendly owner who speaks excellent English and is very happy to help whenever needed. The location is superb! The view from the roofterrace can't be beaten and very quiet. And it is only 400m from one of Anuradhapura's ancient sites.

Honestly there wasn’t much to complain about. There were spiderwebs in the bathroom but other than that the beds were very nice and the room was clean.

The location was really good. The balcony had amazing views of the Abhayagiri Stupa and an amazing sunrise. The breakfast was also very very good and had an amazing homely feel about it. I really want to thank our host for his amazing service and hospitality even though we forgot to hand over our keys to him 😅.

There were a few tiny ants near the waste bin kept inside the room. However, they were gone after we shifted the bin into the bathroom.

Friendly staff. Everything shown in photos on booking.com was available in the room. The bed was very comfortable. The view from the balcony and the rooftop was great. Homecooked dinner and breakfast served were delicious and reasonably priced.

Couldn't locate TV in the downstairs room, not that we were expecting to watch TV that night though.

The resort offered 3 spacious and comfortable rooms as per the booking request. The staff is very friendly and easily approachable. The breakfast provided was also delicious and quite satisfying.

Food is expensive and charged per item in all meals. No fixed menus or prices are available to see before ordering. Cost of food is only revealed in the final bill.

The location of Green Shield is absolutely beautiful and the view you get of Ahbayaghira at morning and night is stunning. The staff was so nice and welcoming, he made sure every request was fulfilled during our stay. The breakfast was really good and we got everything we asked for. If you want a quiet place to stay right outside of the Sacred city of Anuradhapura then this is your place.

Breakfast was delicious and they served it in a really nice manner. Location was exceptional as the hotel is surrounded by the lush greenery. The panoramic view of ancient Abhayagiriya Sthupa which was visible to the roof top of the hotel was breathtaking.

View from the room and rooftop was amazing. Host was kind and helpful. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy. Food was delicious. Beds were comfy. Facilities including AC and hot water were great. Had enough parking space for few vehicles. Place was situated near some Anuradhapura landmarks.

Sorry to mention this, but the truth is, I killed 38 mosquitos in this family room. Couldn't sleep calmly in those 02 nights. Eventhough they do not provide mosquito nets. Website booking was included breakfast but they separately charged for our breakfast.

We didn't notice that the breakfast was an optional thing. When we asked from the properly owner the cost was not discussed. Breakfast cost was relatively high with the things provided.

Location and view was very nice. Place is charming and the staff is very kind and helpful. They helped us to things get onboard.
