My stay at Ella City Reach Hostel was not very comfortable. The water supply was interrupted twice in one day, which made the experience quite inconvenient.

It is very close to the main street, the owner is kind and friendly but it is not clean. For the price that is to be expected otherwise for one or 2 nights just fine. Bed is comfortable and clean the bathroom is a bit dirty.

The person did not know which room i had. Also he didn‘t know the price for it. The water in the shower did not run off.

The people were nice. It is not on the main road so it is way quieter.

The sheets were torn and dirty, there were watter drops falling from the ceiling in the bathroom and the toilet was leaking.

The location of the hostel is good, there’s a bar/restaurant and spa center right besides it.

Dirty toilets! Probably the dirtiest toilets ever. Other guests in private rooms were loud as they only wanted to drink and party all night long. Staffs are unprofessional and unfriendly.

I was here for a night and thankfully I was here only for a night! It is a super shady place to stay in. Avoid!

The hostel was not clean at all, the bathrooms were not usable, the water and electricity were intermittent. But despite everything, I paid 3 dollars for this place.

The beds are very comfortable, the location is good, but unfortunately the toilets and showers are cleaned far too rarely, they are dirty and smelly. The hostel managers are also too rarely on site.

Due to some holes in the roofs, a lot of cockroaches and geckos came into our room. Moreover, the bathroom was smelling a bit nasty.

Great location, very close to restaurants and bars (though up a little steep hill). The staff were very kind and helpful. However the bed was very noisy whenever you moved which was tricky.

One of the 2 hostel fans doesn't work and one of the 2 hostel doors do not lock, also the gate is not locked at night.

The location was very convenient and the beds were comfortable. The water pressure was great and warm.

There is no WiFi in this unit!! When I check with the owner keep asking me to wait for 5 minutes. I think I have check with he for 4-5 times.

The staff were very friendly, but they didn't understand English as well. Non the less a good experience.

We agreed with the owner 5000SR for 2x nights, we asked to stay an extra night and he tried to charge us an extra 10000SR telling us it was 5000SR per night. Eventually he backed down after we challenged him. He also promised the shower would be fixed in our private bathroom however, it never got fixed so we had to use dirty communal showers.

Good location and a nice hostel! Great for someone just wanting to chill a little bit more than the party lifestyle

The staff doesn’t really seem to know what they’re doing, there’s no one who has the control of who’s checking in/out. The receptionist kept asking me who used which beds because they had overbooked the dorm. The male staff keeps walking into the female dorm without knocking. They seem to not change the sheets between quests, since the guy who cleaned just made the bed and showed the new girl it was her bed. We had to tell them to change it.

The hostel is cheap and central and the beds with mosquito nets are good. It’s within walking distance from train, bus and restaurants. It’s fine for a night or two since it’s cheap, but it’s nothing special.
